The list of players getting snaps on offense is getting shorter and more top heavy.

We need to get CJ & Pennel More Snaps in Miami … Mebbe @ the expense of X. Williams & Saunders ( ? ) …

Inactive. “Illness”.

I wonder if that illness will continue for another 2 weeks.

so, when was the last time the Starting O-Line took EVERY SINGLE SNAP?

and on Defense … anyone think Spags relies his Safeties? maybe a LITTLE bit? (this Defense with Thornhill + experience, oh my!)

So, who’s responsible for kicking Jurrell Casey’s ass all game long? I didn’t notice his name called one time after the opening kickoff, and I had to look up enemy snap counts just to find out whether he even played. Turns out he did play quite a bit – 72% of snaps, and just 2 tackle assists to show for it, according to PFR. So to whoever’s responsible for that (presumably somebody(s) related to our much maligned IOL unit) – attaboy.

On a possibly related topic, I also didn’t notice Wisniewski’s name called during the game (100% of snaps). I’m glad Veach got him.

Nate, you were close when you told me Hitchens’ snaps would be up around 75% for this game.

Nice to see Hardman getting more snaps. Keep that speed on the field. Also CJ has more than I figured.

Yeah, with CJ, I’d bet their first idea was to just use him on 3rd downs mostly. But he was by far the most effective Henry-Suppressor on 1st downs. Seemed like he started getting more involved after the first couple of drives.

Arthur Smith’s much-praised “amazing” playcalling didn’t look so amazing after the Titans stopped getting 4-5 yards on every 1st&10.

Dude has been ridiculous. You can still see his athletic limitations show up a bit more than I’d like, but he is out there gaming. Such an impressive performance so far.

Effort has never been one of his problems.

I hate on him, a lot, obviously, and I do still hope we find an upgrade for him in the offseason. But the dude has earned his Superbowl ring as much as anybody else on the team.

I’m pretty sure no one has earned a Super Bowl ring just yet.

The losers of the Superbowl also get rings for getting to the Superbowl, but they’re called “conference title rings” just because that sounds better than “Superbowl losers’ rings.”

So, everybody on both the Chiefs and the Niners have already earned rings for this Superbowl. They just need to determine the engraving.
