It ain’t no joke.  Chiefs shine when playing Denver Broncos.
Teach the world that we now have a stellar “D”
And teach the world that Denver’s just a dumpster fire.
Hey, I know I’ve got a song ‘bout KC’s Thursday victory.
This was the Chiefs’ attack.  The first drive, Reid made a sack
He got down by midfield, and took Russ down in the back.
And just then, KC got the ball and drove it to the red zone,
But the offense stalled, we couldn’t run it nor could catch what was thrown.

Forty-five points is nice, we love to see Pat ball out
But all games are not the same, yeah, and this one wasn’t that.
This one had stops as defense was in prime season.
Nick Bolton had picked it, but Pat got picked off back.
Some drives we threw down, or Pacheko ran it downtown,
And some stalled when DEN’s “D” fought back through to 4th down.
Toney got a touchdown score, we wanted more,
But it wasn’t to happen, it just wasn’t in store.

It ain’t no joke that sad Denver’s always getting smoked
By KC, and when another interception broke,
The Bronco offense could not get too far.  They were all scarred, yeah.
Mr. Wilson can’t perform like any kind of all-star.
When he dropped back, got sacked, we watched that team get bushwhacked.
Yeah they scored once, it’s a fact – a pick got called back.
And Sutton scored, but that was it.  We won the day.
We won sixteen in a row against this team that we play.
