AFC Championship Game Plays Of The Game: Chiefs Vs Bills
18 repliesArrowhead Guys highlight the best offensive and defensive plays from the Chiefs AFC Championship Game win over the Bills
Arrowhead Guys scours the tape to find you the biggest plays on offense and defense every week!
It seems that every time the Chiefs play this silly little game called football, we are witness to a plethora of amazing plays.

While there are many great plays to chose from, there can only be two Arrowhead Guys Plays of the Game. These are your plays.
Offense
Tyreek Hill’s 71 yard catch and run through traffic was a huge play in a game full of huge plays. While coming up just short of the endzone, it set the Chiefs up with 1st and goal, and Andy Reid pulled out a beautiful shovel pass to Kelce for the score, putting the Chiefs up 31-15 and spiraling the Bills into a pit of desperation that nothing could pull them out of.

Defense
Just a few plays after getting our offensive play of the game, the defensive play of the game came our way. With the Bills looking to answer the Chiefs’ deathblow score, the only thing they couldn’t afford to do was turn the ball over. And what did the Bills do? TURN THE BALL OVER! Rashad Fenton’s interception while the Bills were in scoring position effectively ended the game, and if not, the Chiefs turning the INT into 7 on the following drive certainly did.

What were your plays of the game?
In my mind Marcus Kemp’s receiving and covering the on-side kick attempt by the Bills at least deserves consideration, a curious observation from a blowout. But consider also Hardman’s fumble and Butker going perfect on the day (Bills guy missed that PAT early on) and Special Teams gains some profile. Add in that the Bills had recovered their first on-side kick attempt, which made Kemp’s play all-the-more significant. Having said all that, I agree with the authors’ two choices.
Thornhill got the juice back! Just in time too we’re gunna need him to make plays all over the field with those weapons tb has. Gronk might eat Sorenson lunch tho. We have to figure out a way to not let that happen.
I watched this about 50 times in a row, that throw is just a thing of beauty. Can’t believe hill dropped it.
I was in the car when that play happened (dropped my daughter back off at K-State) and the announcers (Eagle and Boselli are terrible) said he dropped it, then failed to really adequately describe it. Legit drop.
Ian eagle is fantastic normally
Best offensive play was the Mecole Hardman end around in the 2nd quarter. Ball snapped at the 18 yard line, and Fisher and Reiter out front didn’t even engage a block until the other side 45 yard line. It was a thing of beauty.
Best defensive play was the Sneed sack.
How long ago it seems when we were yelling for the Chiefs to draft a corner in the first round? Fenton is our number four corner….
Sneed has been a revelation
My Arrowhead season seats (section 116) are right next to the famous Chiefs fan………
the lady with the (2) puppets one Chiefs & the other visiting team
Had to take a picture with her 🙂
Also, KC Wolf was in our section – took a pic w/him 🙂
2021, I’ll be selling face value tix on Arrowhead Guys (4 seats together).
Spreading the LOVE 🙂 🙂
Love seeing the players on the sidelines communicating (off camera), start of 4th quarter. Patrick (leader, like we all knew) was huddling with Defense – telling them “close this game out” over & over.
Tyrann Mathieu is a LEADER.
He was communicating with D coach entire game & huddling with Chief Offense – pumping them up.
Prayers to Eric Fisher after tearing Achilles.
Mitchell Schwartz, is it time to return yet!!!
Congrats on the game , that would have been awesome… did you get the bbq on the plane??
bbq didn’t make plane – we all ate it – after the game in hotel 🙂
So, who won?
Well, the real winner was Josh Allen. He’s just so dreamy.
I love how this team is constantly working new wrinkles into plays.
When Sneed came out with his injury and was replaced by Fenton, I was thinking we really didn’t drop off that far.
