Indeed. I think the Chiefs are in a pretty good position. It was just a tough loss. If it wasn’t for that questionable false start call… It was a W.
I read a lot of the Internet and Twitter and they’re ready with pitchforks and torches. It’s wildly dramatic and entitled… the biggest accounts just pour gasoline on the fumes of raging nonsense and fiery hot taeks.
I guess I just miss when outrage wasn’t so popular… We used to really suffer over these Chiefs. I used to try and get people to love the team and have perspective after four win seasons.
Being this mad just doesn’t make sense. But you’re right about the money aspect of this paid for clicks and engagement world we live in.
I feel like a broken record here, but I’ll say it over and over.
People are dumb. They overreact without any real or deep consideration of what they are saying.
I used to say it’s youth, but I see it in older people too these days.
I also saw a lot of calls to fire Andy Reid, all saying he was “washed”. This is typical BS from the dumb crowd. A couple weeks ago, it was Toub. Last week, it was Butker. This week, it’s Reid. Next week, it’ll be someone else.
If we fire them all, we’ll be lucky to have a team come the playoffs!
I would say they’re angry, full of negativity and looking for a scapegoat—more than dumb. But after being called some of the names on Twitter that I’ve read and been called after being positive about struggling players. Dumb fits too.
When things go wrong, you can fix the problem, but that takes time and work. Fixing the blame on someone is much easier, and emotionally satisfying. Unfortunately, deciding who’s fault it was, true or especially not, doesn’t address the problem any further. Sometimes it IS a person, true, but even then there’s likely to be something else wrong at the same time.
I could write an(other) essay on that topic, but when I’ve tried that in the past, almost nobody said I have a point. I’ve got the blues enough to feel like I don’t want another exercise of futility. *sigh*
This evening is actually pretty good – we have more people posting tonight, and it’s appreciated. other opinions make things interesting. As long as you agree with me!!!!
I always take the donkeys losses hard. Probably has something to do with where I live.
Lot of things to like for 3 quarters, especially compared to the week before. Lot of things to really dislike in the 4th quarter.
Reid deserves all the criticism hes getting. Really questionable play calling in big situations. Defense really didnt show up when they needed to. Biggest stars didnt shine in the biggest moments.
To the donkeys credit they took advantage of our missteps. Especially on d they have playmakers and they made plays in the biggest moments.
Grain of salt time… Johnson was lucky to be WIDE open for 70+ yards. We have never seen Worthy so open, at least, I can’t remember him ever being that open.
There is so much negativity about the Chiefs, Andy Reid and this game. I’m not sure what people will even want to read about.
I’m open to some suggestions. I didn’t take the loss as hard as I have in years past but I’m still pretty bummed. It was right there!
Nevertheless, always the MOAR, I love the Chiefs!!!
5-2 after seven games, splitting with the Broncos, is something I think anyone would have took back in August.
Theres a lot of other teams in worse shape.

just remember, those people on those sights try to stir things up because that’s how they get paid.

Again… people are dumb.

That’s pretty hard to argue with!
No it’s not! (Sarcasm font)

Toub and Butker definitely still on that list this week.

keep in mind too that a lot of people are fed up with the Chiefs winning – much like the pats a few years ago. It is what it is…
Listening to some radio today. Emmett Johnson has more receiving yards than Worthy. Smh
It seems that worthy doesn’t do as well as we hoped.
Grain of salt time… Johnson was lucky to be WIDE open for 70+ yards. We have never seen Worthy so open, at least, I can’t remember him ever being that open.
I mean this for the season on 200+ more snaps
Its typical of new players teams don’t have scouting for – they’ll watch him a lot closer going forward.
good evening AG!
How you doing?
doing good. how about you?
Not too bad.
