BRaG’s (Video) Buffet: Short Stack
2 repliesI hope everyone is enjoying a good day. Isn’t that good enough?
Have a blast from the past, something that never went live.
I wasn’t up to reviewing breakdowns of our loss this week, but here’s two from the second wave.
Mitch and Matty both check out our draft pick jackpot, Emmet Johnson. Two views of the same plays is useful and informative, in its way. Next two are interesting, it’s the stats guy again. And again. A marvel of framing stats to answer specific questions. He lays out his methods each time, follows through the process, and gives his conclusion. That’s pretty remarkable in any age, this one included.
I hope you find both food for thought and tasty morsels on this table. See you tomorrow, and go, CHIEFS!
I’ve decided to stop bitching about the NFL’s policy regarding videos using its footage. It is what it is, at least until they get in step with the technology and allow fans to promote their sport. Not gonna hold my breath, but it’s a poor choice for a running joke.
This is the Kingdom’s Golden Age, trust the process.
But what say you?

The comments on those referee videos are a lesson in Nuh-Uh 101.
Good stuff Brag. Amazing.
Glad you enjoyed. Yeah, no kidding as to the comments, but people tend to prefer hanging on to their conclusions rather than to revise or reject them when facts tending to falsify them turn up. The emotional investment’s too high, so abandoning it for a more factual understanding is just too uncomfortable for most.
But I stand by what I said about those stats videos, very nicely done stuff. A rare treat, even.
