Hello Arrowhead Guys. After a long week of thinking about the Cleveland Brons and whether or not 75 yard touchdowns are actually 75 yard touchdowns–or not (they are!). It’s finally here! It’s finally GAMEDAY. Who’s playing? Where’s the game? Is it Primetime? You got questions, we’ve got answers. Let’s roll!

The History – Courtesy of PFR:
Chiefs lead series 7-4.
With this particular site (Arrowhead Guys), I feel like maybe the most memorable Chiefs – Ravens game happened after the 2010 season. It was when Todd Haley was the head coach and Matt Cassel and Dwayne Bowe had their best year together. The Ravens ended up beating the Chiefs 30-7 inside of Arrowhead as the team took a beating. It shattered Scott Pioli’s glass ceiling (replacing it with candy wrappers) and the team struggled to find success again until Clark Hunt flew to Philadelphia and came back with Andy Reid in 2013.
Neverthess, the Kansas City Chiefs still own the series. They’ve won the last four games against the Baltimore Ravens including the last Monday Night Football contest in which they defeated the team: 34-20. If you can’t recall the game, maybe this play from Eric Fisher will jog your memory like a linemen TD.

But Big Fish is a Colt now, so moving on to his replacement:
Orlando Brown Jr. started football in his father’s massive shadow.

Now, he protects Patrick Mahomes’s blindside—and honors his late father’s wishes https://t.co/ohsJ0v0UQY

Orlando Brown Jr. when asked about giving up a career-high 5 QB pressures on Sunday: “Flat out, I’ve got to play better. I’m here to dominate. I’ve got to play better and I will.” #Chiefs41 #ChiefsKingdom

Do you believe Orlando Brown Jr?
I do. I think with Orlando going to Baltimore to go against his old team and his father’s shadow, he’ll rise to the occasion and help the Chiefs dominate tonight. The man wanted to be a left tackle in the NFL, and he got that opportunity with the Chiefs. Now, he’s gotta show that he can protect the best quarterback in the league against the team that brought him to the dance. I think he’ll be able to do it. What say you AG?
43 Yards!
Travis Kelce needs only 43 receiving yards to become the eighth tight end in NFL history to record 8,000+ yards through the air.

If he does it tonight, he’ll be the fastest tight end in league history to reach the mark, doing so in just 113 games. pic.twitter.com/6tQ4hG8QTQ

This is just a couple of examples (and shout out to Marcus Peters making a full recovery), but Tyreek Hill has done pretty well against the Baltimore Ravens in the past. With it being a Primetime game, I’m looking for the Cheetah to make a huge impact against the Ravens and continue his NFL domination that was on display last weekend. One of the Ravens coaches did have this to say about stopping Kelce and Hill:
Ravens DC Don “Wink” Martindale on the Chiefs offense: “Let’s face it, 10 [Tyreek Hill] and 87 [Travis Kelce] is who we have to stop. Then the others, you just got to hold on to. If they make a play, then so be it.”
— Jamison Hensley (@jamisonhensley) September 16, 2021
That’s what Chiefs fans want to see anyway!
It’s no secret that a lot of vocal Chiefs fans aren’t enamored with our weapons beyond Hill and Kelce. Our fearless leader Tony Sommer worries about what will happen if the two go down. Other fans like to point at players like Clyde Edwards Helaire, Melcole Hardman, DeMarcus Robinson and insert your player to complain about production wise here _____________. You name it, and Chiefs fans will worry it’s not being effective enough.
If Baltimore’s game plan is to stop Hill & Kelce. Number one, good luck. Number two, if they are able to complete that task… I’d look for one of the Chiefs other playmakers to have to some numbers tonight. It’s easy to assume it’ll be Hardman. But with Andy Reid as our head coach it could be someone like FB Michael Burton or TE Blake Bell (The Bell Dozer) or even fan favorites like Jody Fortson or Byron Pringle. No matter who it is, it’s almost game time and I predict we’re going to see some scoring tonight in abundance.
Conclusion
The Ravens are at home. They have a hungry Sammy Watkins looking for revenge. They have Lamar Jackson unable to beat Patrick Mahomes in his career. They have a fan base that has to wear purple and keep a straight face. There’s a million reasons for the Baltimore Ravens to beat and defeat the Chiefs tonight. However, the Kansas City Chiefs have a huge reason to win and that’s Patrick Mahomes. He owns the Ravens and I think he’ll keep that streak alive. It’s gameday! What’s your score prediction? My score prediction is: Chiefs 45 – Ravens 31.
Bang up start by D and ST. Geez.
baaaaaa
Is this where I am supposed to be now
I need direction
Just do more drugs and say eff it.
Let’s go, Chiefs!!!!!!

According to Chiefswire, Coach Reid has 140 total wins as HC of the Philadelphia Eagles and 99 total wins (playoff games included) with the Chiefs. Win #100 could, would, should be tonight. Go Chiefs!
Here’s a stat for you. It took all the years from seasons 1998-2012 for the Chiefs to rack up 105 wins.
Or the Math goes:
Gunther Era +
The Dick Vermeil Era +
The Herm Era +
The Haley Error +
The Romeo phase and
Plus the finally year of Marty Ball to crest and = more wins than Andy Reid since 2013.
The Herm era was a bad era.
But when you come against THE CHIEFS,
There’s no way that I can stand by!
I am comin’, and if I come, then pain is comin’ with me!
‘Cause we play to win ’til we win it!
