I have no issues with “conservativsm” in and of itself … conserving the planet, for example, conserving art and knowledge, conserving resources … those are not at all bad things (and I’m a dyed-in-the-wool Beyond Liberal)
Agree, but we both know that’s not what the movement is. For me, conservatism is about one thing above all else, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. They have failed miserably.

My son(a Marine) left there last week on his way home from a 6 month deployment. He just called a minute ago from Hawaii. He has to turn back for humanitarian relief. Looks like it will be a while longer before I get to see him.

Yes, I know that you want LLCs to be censor-able by gov’t whim because ones like AG don’t deserve any 1stA rights. Thanks for that vote against that, since the 1stA also gives us the right to moderate our comments, something I wish I’d realized a few years sooner. Without that, we’ll have to follow rules set by the Feds, and won’t that improve things. Advertisers might find themselves unable to advertise certain widely-available products, and I don’t mean booze or tobacco.
As things stand, the financial donations of an entity must conform to election law, so let me know when you’ve learned more about it. Meanwhile, how about you stop complaining that this site enjoys the protection of the 1stA, willya? And yes, I know this is harshly put, but I’ve stayed polite, and you haven’t listened to me when I’ve tried talking nice.
In short, how about you keep your distaste for folks and groups having “too many” rights to yourself, because I not only want mine preserved, I want to reclaim as much of what we have lost from the BoR as possible, and especially 4-10. Honestly I have avoided news for awhile. I watch fox 4 in kc in the morning because they are local and they don’t dig into national politics during the early hours. On the weekends just local news and some pics parents send in for their kid 1st BDays. They might win a free cake
