Two 1st rounders would get me to pull the trigger either way, but what about one, or multiple lower picks? Likely so, although teams have cut deals that make no sense before, and will again (*cough* Watson-Browns). How desperate are the G-Men? I’m not sure that anyone in the organization knows, either, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s at least some.
I seem to recall that Reid mentioned it was nice to get away from the press in the northeast, and that’s just Philly. I’m sure NYC is worse, maybe in Boston, too. Might ask my friend from there about the tone in relevant areas, but since she works in sports media there’s going to be some bias involved. Even if they work for one of the “good guy” employers, not many folks like being truthful about how nasty some of their colleagues are. Guilt by association works in more ways than the obvious one.
