I must be more tired than I thought. Didn’t realize today was Friday. I have a song, and will try to post it tomorrow I guess.

On a non-football note, I was getting gas this morning, had just gotten in the truck to leave and heard a loud thunk. The guy on the other side of the pump had drove off and forgot to remove the nozzle from his car. He was pretty embarrassed.
Some places will charge you for your stupidity.
I like the cautious approach with Simmons, back injuries are nothing to fuck with. I should know, i tore a disc so badly once it had a 19mm hole in it. Have had nerve ablation in at least 16 spots. And thats just my lower back. My neck is fucked as well and haven’t been able to feel ny thumbs and half my arms for 5+ years. 41 fucking years old.
That would suck.
Similar ,but not as intense … I have a bulging disc w/ a tear ( Pronounced BOTH WAYS ! ) , and twin Degenerative Disc Disease in the two descending Discs from there …
I just came from my Pain Medication Doctor yesterday ( ‘Cuz that’s how they do it these Day$ ) after having Spinal Steroid Shots , Ablation & even an Epidural …
All the while sifting through a shopping list of Morphine ( Opiodal ) variations & Strengths .
We finally ” Resolved the Pain w/ a Transdermal Patch that , while not curing the root cause , Masks the Frag Grenade of Cattle Prods from lighting off in my back 15 – 20 x per day …
Back issues are no joke …
I used to say sarcastically ” Funny as a Sharp Stick in the Eye ” …Until I got one …
I used to ” Poo Poo ” those w/back issues as ” Gold Brickers ” dodging work …
I No Longer say ” Funny as a Heart Attack ” ,,, : )
I remember sitting by a doc many years ago on a plane… we got to talking, and he said, I’m a doctor, don’t tell me about your back. I said I’m and engineer, don’t ask me about your car! we got a chuckle out of that. but its a pretty common issue
