already got 8 hours of OT and it is only Tuesday
golden time too, I hope
so I am told 5 hours of 2.5 times pay for memorial day
solid, they aren’t total dicks
being “on call” should count as 1/2 time at least w/o a call
I get a dollar, worked on call for 9 hours a couple weeks ago no calls I got 8 dollars
I do work for a gaming company and sometimes you win and sometimes you lose 🙁

he is doing it mostly outside of my crew, company stuff and he works all over the upper midwest
I am covering for him as is the entire crew
regardless, I learned a long time ago that companies would rather pay a ton of OT over hiring a needed additional worker
so Fed min for on-call time should be sellable

how’d your experiment go?
decent … used a “top round” (I think) nice and thick, the “charcoal snake” thing worked perfectly, added coupla chunks of Apple Wood near the end, nice smoky flavor, came out better than I thought it might (and only took a few hrs, as opposed to a brisket would have taken all day and half the night) … marinated, then on the Weber … sliced really thin, not at all bad
nice, slicing is critical on a roast, unless it’s just falling apart

Med-rare , sliced thin… we’ve been eating the shit out of London broil, you can get a giant size hunk of meat for 15 bucks… And it only takes 12 minutes in the oven , hint ( on broil ) ..
That and then a separate pan throw in some cut up new potatoes and garlic.. oh my … yum yum
top round roast in the instantpot, 20 min work, 2hrs wait with no fuss
I do love a good roast.. love an easy meal you can eat for three days.
