Chase for the Bengals and Bates have been telling the world how great they are and how bad they will kick the Chiefs ass. Apple has been kicking the Bills when their down. I don’t think I like these guys much. They remind me of the Raiders.
To be fair, the Bengals have a long and storied history of being a Raiders-like franchise. Remember Vontaze Burfict?
restricting (criminalizing) a citizen’s movements sure sounds like small gov’t .
That’s too commonly done to be a partisan point. The unjust, unreasonable, and unworkable restrictions levied via the No-Fly List and Sex Offender List have been driven by administrations and pols on both sides without regard for the actual outcomes.
I know, I know, sex offenders! The problem is that they’re all lumped together and never evaluated. Thus, you can have a 19yo who had sex with someone 3–5 years younger, not realizing it’s illegal, for whatever reason. No perverse motives or drives to it, no expectation of repeating it – and he can’t live anywhere he can get a job, by law. What’s he supposed to do, execute himself? And there’s no escaping either one – and simply annoying a gov’t agent can get you on either one, and with the N-FL, you likely won’t know it until you’ve bought your tix and then the TSA steps in.
they want to add a new one
And that’s no better than the others, but if the only thing that matters is preventing the next one, you’re stuck with your failures, with no prospect of being rid of the damned things.
Reason #569 we are not Cowboy fans. Our team likes our players. “Here come’s the bus, Dak. Wanna just climb under it or should we throw you?”
The Dallas Chargers?
My two cents regarding cheffers’ assignment:
yeah well, that’s just, you know … like YOUR opinion – The Dude
Of course, but that doesn’t mean I’m wrong.
Earth to Steve, come in Steve … Steve, come in Steve … check your email if you can hear us, Steve 🙃😁🤪😊🐾🐾🎸🎼🎶🎵🎹🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈
I am busy
FYI – anyone out there has clear skies, the crescent 🌙 moon is sweet
totally overcast KC never has clear skies when something interesting happens
i just heard thunder
and the comet!
I just saw it from here in CA. Very nice.
right on! 😁

Is there a place where you can look at the grading for the officiating crews?
Has Cheffers graded higher or what’s the criteria for picking the SB officals?
https://www.nflpenalties.com/all-referees.php?year=2022
Ref stats
Thanks Nova, it looks like to me the refs with more flags get graded higher. Is that right?
Sure looks like it, even though the site says nothing about grades.
We definitely need more transparency and ffing grades
I looked, but couldn’t find any published grades on them for any year. No rankings or anything.
Looking just at him and how the Chiefs fared when he is “the man”:
# of penalties against us from 2018 on (rank) by Cheffers crews
2018: 15th out of 32 team. He did not call everybody’s games. (not bad)
2019: 5th
2020: 1st (3 games, avg 10.3 a game against us)
2021: 2nd (SF #1, 3 game vs our 2, but both avg 7/gm)
2022: 3rd
His crews avg about 8.2 penalties against a team per game, and every year except one in the last 5, we’ve been top 5 in teams he’s called penalties on.
His faves: False start (probably everyone’s), Off. Holding, DPI, Unnecessary roughness, Def Holding. Only 6 Roughing the Passer, and at least one was pure bullshit.
Need some gd transparency and a grading system. You know they have a grading system !!
“A judge must avoid all impropriety and appearance of impropriety. This prohibition applies to both professional and personal conduct. A judge must expect to be the subject of constant public scrutiny and accept freely and willingly restrictions that might be viewed as burdensome by the ordinary citizen.”
That’s straight from the legal code of conduct, but for refs, it should at least apply to professional conduct. The only thing I can say about Carl is that he’s not Triplett.
The phrase “Damning with faint praise” comes to mind
As it should, pretty much.
Well hell from the way the Bengals, Bates and those boys have been saying how much they’re going to kick the Chiefs ass it doesn’t sound like we have much of a chance anyway.
but you have to prove INTENT for the stats to “mean” anything and good luck on that part
who knows? maybe this SB they won’t toss a lot of yellow …
” It could happen” – Judy Tenuta
No you don’t.
You have more flags thrown against the Chiefs by Cheffers than most other teams. That is provable. That’s what it says.
We are getting 67% more flags than average. That’s provable. We are coached by one of the best, most respected, most successful coaches ever. Do you think sloppy, undisciplined play goes with that?
Can I prove he has a grudge? No. Can I prove he throws more flags against us than any other team? I can.
However, our bigger concern for now is that this weeks guy called the 1st game in Cincy where the reffing was horrible, so hating on Cheffers might have to wait.
Not
Fucking
Likely
refs have their own union and killed the last replacement development program
I’m not against unions as a concept, or even a necessary solution to some problems.
My problem with unions is when they gain enough power that their goal is always less oversight on the job, and less accountability. The NFL’s ref union is one extreme example of this, but police and teachers’ unions are more notorious examples.
true.
still crazy to see MI become a right to work state few yrs ago
Teamsters, AFL-CIO, Police Benevolent associations, just to start.
The reason RTW laws exist is because unions spend dues on things that many of their members object to, and in non-RTW states, you can be forced to pay dues that you don’t want to. Your non-RTW vision’s a matter of closed shops, and needing union approval to be hired.
Furthermore, they work hard to protect their worst, such as teachers’ unions shifting teachers who’d taken liberties to new schools who’ve no idea of the history. Sometimes they do this multiple times, as though they were Catholic Bishops.
And the thing is, if you oppose RTW, then you’re protecting all of this ongoing unfairness. Whatever your views, the Left loves unions, so it loves these abuses. They’re all in for corporations that folks don’t consider to be corporations.
And to any teacher who might get upset by the criticism, grow up. These are absolutely real problems, and are being compounded by political lobbying to the effect that only they are allowed to education, and every tax dollar for that belongs to themselves.
That’s an absolutely anti-child position, and don’t get me started about the Progressive HS who withheld notification of achievement awards they’d won, because those gave them an unfair advantage with colleges over their classmates.
Or how about elite-tier gov’t HSs who do everything they can to keep out high-performing Asians, because they are outperforming (or thought to be) “victim minorities” (my term) for the sake of arbitrary gov’t-defined racial categories.
feeling a bit of anti-wokeness, are we?
Not at all, but you suggesting that after I laid out some real-world, documented injustices says more about you than me, my friend.
Not to mention that you’ve lumped in protecting kiddy-groping teaches as an inherent element of “woke”. Another note, though I mean this gently, it’s been bothering me; my transgender son wouldn’t agree with when you spoke out for Trans folks. They are people, not a special interest group.
That is an essential element of “woke”, because it’s a demand upon others on behalf of a group who may hate their very idea. You know who hates the term Latinx? Well over 90% of Latinos and Latinas. Wokeness says they don’t get a say in their new normal. You like that unwelcome imposition upon others?
And I still consider you to be a friend, and would help you i9n any way I could, and I know you’re a retired(?) teacher, but you’re treating serious, factual points as though they were no more than political fluff, and nobody actually got hurt, so keep the unfairness rolling.
I object to that, and I’m not looking forward to your next casual dismissal of important criticisms.
off for coffee … for tomorrow and BEYOND! ☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕☕
hoping new PC arrives sooner rather than later… tomorrow would be nice, ain’t bettin on it

I TOLD You that Cranberry Juice would help … ; )
Didn’t have time to go to the Chinese grocery store to try out noodles, so I just went to the regular one to restock on stuff I need to make the fried rice again.
I may be addicted…
you seem to have that issue
I am addicted to HyVee Cowboy chicken grillers and fries
I could maybe deconstruct them and save a fortune
It’s not very difficult.
What is in a cowboy chicken griller?
The Cowboy Chicken Griller is a chicken breast stuffed with jalapenos and hot pepper cheese and tightly wrapped in bacon. On the Grill: Grill on a medium-heat charcoal or gas grill for 20 to 30 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160 degrees.

Well the Bengals have not won @Arrowhead lately except in OT
the only game that counts is the next one
Ah Einstein!!!!
*gasp* you KNOW!
I have met you 🙂
you the guy who almost killed us both en route to Rosedale BBQ
possibly
well, I won’t tell anyone if you won’t 🤪
That was a solid BBQ joint, back when I lived in Rosedale, hope they’re still going.
My dad always claimed it was the best BBQ in KC.
And since KC has the best BBQ in the world, then Rosedale is the best in the world.
Oh Rosedale BBQ, how I miss you!
And we’ve only won one of the last 8 vs the Bungles.
Can’t believe the Bungles have an all time winning record against us.
the vegas odds have swung like 4 points towards the Bengals since yesterday
Chiefs are Dogs at Arrowhead
that won’t last too long
The other than Chiefs Kingdom doubts us
Peons
Who would pick a Burro over the GOAT
but I love you, Steve!
I would not eat either even with BBQ sauce
love you man!
ditto
Goat curry’s good. Just bony.
They’re beaten us 3 times in a row and now by far our most important player has an injury. They should be favourites.
something else
the Bengals attacked one of our rookie CB’s, who played 66 snaps against them
He is not playing all that since then. Williams I think and now Watson is getting those snaps
we have a deep secondary
Sneed was out I think
Can someone explain the whole “deferred” part of this Lemmons thing?
who cares he sucks
IF you cut a dude
he has a brain full of disinformation to feed the enemy
most ST snaps on the year, something there
he was the dude that helped in a beating at last years Super Bowl?
no idea
we needed the roster spot for either CEH or our TE from IR
yep, Fortson please
had to remind Daisy that I may be dumb but she is dumber
could you imagine a household where the Dog is the smart one….
ummmmmm
there’s a reason why dogs adopt humans … who goes to work to supply food? who pays for everything in the world and provides all a dog could possibly need?
WHO’S the smart one? 😉
Dang You
Yes. With Kamara
prob has to do with waiver claim whilst in the playoffs, also keeps us from bringing him back after AFCCG
He can’t play. Can he go to the facilities? Can he be part of the team?
no idea
so were you able to add the pics to the AG vault?
not yet, will try in a bit.
done. next time email them
Me either. That’s why I asked. Wondering if it was just to stop us from getting him back or getting info
It’s deferred until after the Super Bowl. It’s really a dick move that only hurts Lammons who’s season is now over.
That’s what I was afraid of. The poor guy now CAN’T be picked back up an play in the SB or Sunday. I know it’s a job, but even if they don’t turn around and cut him, I wouldn’t be happy if I was him
Carl fuckin cheffers. This sucks so bad. The last chiefs game he called, I had to shut off because it was unwatchable. I hate the NFL so much right now.
We don’t like Cheffers
