My Bad I was thinking

seems most of America thinks we are going in the wrong direction. I thought that might be cause both ends of the spectrum were polar opposites and neither was happy.

So, I was thinking, we actually have three choices, and communism ain’t happening

So we have two, European socialism or Russian style capitalism

I am sorta surprised that so many that lean towards Russia would want to build a Wall?

instead of just conquering Mexico thrice and moving the border south?

Don’t know why socialism became a dirty word. Esp, as you say, the modern EU model. Free enterprise is allowed/encouraged. Private property is a thing, democratic voting, representative gov’t etc. Taxes are high on corps and the wealthy, but the entire pop benefits (including the corps) by having a healthier, more educated, better housed and generally happier population.

Taxes, pure and simple greed, they want money without paying for anything that allows them to make that money

Russian capitalism

There is also a lot of evidence around the world that socialism is bad. Even though our system is being exploited by the elite, people are fleeing socialist countries to come here.

Is denouncing and pushing back against a very specific set of beliefs being forced upon an entire population, “hostility to religion”?
Nobody is preventing anyone from practicing as they see fit.
Nobody wants to be forced to practice anything they do not freely choose.

I’m curious to see how Brian Daboll does as an HC. I remember his one season in KC as OC being horrid, but that’s because Crennel was coach and he had Cassel and Quinn at QB. He goes to Buffalo and tears it up with Josh Allen. Perhaps he can get something out of Daniel Jones…but he also needs weapons for that

Chiefs waive TE Mark Vital, to make room for DE Carlos Dunlap
.
Former college basketball star on Baylor’s national championship team, Vital was added to the practice squad last season.
.
He managed to show some progress in his transition this offseason and flashed during the team’s OTAs and mandatory minicamp workouts. Unfortunately, the team has a tremendous amount of depth at the tight end position this year, making Vital expendable.

zulu trader
07/28/2022 6:56 pm

The Chiefs return to the practice field on Friday for their second workout open to the public. The practice begins at 9:15 a.m. Arrowhead Time.

“Experience is one of the things,” the 28-year-old Jones said of what Dunlap brings to the Chiefs. “We got a young [defensive line] group this year, fairly young to me — I’m like one of the older guys in the group. I think [he can] bring a lot of experience, a lot of wisdom to the group. He also can influence the group with his leadership ability. We’d love to have him.”

Spagnuolo agreed with Jones as he described his defensive line room.

“A little young, right? A little young and experienced, but I think we’ve got some good options,” said the defensive coordinator. “I think this is going to be one of those years that it’s going to take us three, four, five games — hopefully, as we win — where we figure out where everybody goes and who should be doing this and who should be playing.
