Bieniemy has spent the past ten seasons of his coaching career with the Chiefs, starting off as their running backs coach before becoming the offensive coordinator in 2018. But with his contract expiring at the end of the season, it seemed very likely that Bieniemy would be on the move, and as he was introduced with the Commanders, he revealed he knew for a while that his time with the Chiefs was up.

His now former quarterback Patrick Mahomes came out in defense of the coordinator as he looks to continue his rise in the NFL. (ED: And with that, I am done with the EB saga. I wish him well, but he is no longer Chiefs news)

Chiefs news is slowing down. Slim Pickens
Appreciate you morning Huddle guys in the off-season
What Zulu said!
agreed & wreck’d
Update: The guy who does the Super Bowl Holthus/Harlan “dubs” is “working on them;” he apparently flew into and out of KC for the championship day parade and is thus “a little behind.”
No timeline as yet, but it sounds like he was able to make pretty good headway last evening.
Should be fun
HEY GUYS!
Now that the 2022-23 season is in the books, I wanted to give one last song parody to recap what we went through this year. Call it an after-season Super Bowl reflection. Call it what you will. We’re world champs baby! (And it actually rounds off everything in this 2nd volume of Chiefs’ poems to an even 40).
With that in mind, I present my last song parody (or poem) for this season: “WON THIS WAY!” (to the tune of Aerosmith, “Walk this Way”. Even better, the recording listed is the duet version between Aerosmith and Run DMC).

Great stuff 3rd!
You are a talented man, everyone should read this one, its great!
MODERATORS / EDITORS / GUYS IN CHARGE HERE –
I got a bad technical problem. I am in the process of posting my last Chiefs’ poem of the year as a fanpage. But when I do what I always have, copying it over from Google Docs to here, it has messed up the format.
I don’t know what to do. I want to post it. But not like this. I’ve promised it that I would post this today. Help please.
Restarted the computer. We’ll see if that helps.
Ok. Good news. Whatever it was, that took care of it. I’ll post soon.
Look forward to reading it
(See above)
Good to hear, because I wouldn’t know how to fix that. Word Press does weird stuff from time to time. Moving stuff from Google Docs to even Word can cause formatting problems.
You want to show me the ropes sometime today/evening?
Somebody wanted me to have their email address but I don’t know the name- I only know screen names
I sent you Rip’s email yesterday from my aol.com starting with kb
Got it
I can do that. I sent you an email. Send me your # and I can call later. I’m East Coast, and I can probably do anytime after 5, my time.
Sounds good
Let me know when works for you and we’ll get this going
Did you get my email?
I took notes/initially wrote rough drafts of documents in Google Docs while a grad student, and then transferred everything to Word. Formatting is a nightmare.
It’s even worse with resumes/CVs.

Eric Bieniemy opens his presser by thanking the Chiefs.
“It’s been an amazing journey getting to this point and having the success we’ve had.”
This is sooooo good I posted last night — here it is again
I hope we throw some cash at McKinnon. (relatively speaking of course. Rbs are cheap) I really like this duo. Plus if McKinnon can help teach Pacheco to block and help him with his passing game, we could end up with one of the best RBs in the nfl in a couple of years.
If we threw cash at McKinnon, he’d probably turn it into many, many touchdowns.
A “couple” of years Jet will be retired by then
That’s what I mean. McKinnon teaches Pacheco the little things.
McKinnon was not gifted with Pacheco’s size. If Pacheco can learn to do the little things that McKinnon does he will be awesome.
Awesome
Awesomer
“WORLD CHAMPIONS”
From what I heard from Peter King.. cigars were lit up HUGE!
