Henne and his key touchdown drive received nothing but positive remarks from KC on Saturday. GREAT team win yesterday! I could see everyone stepping up after the injury and it was awesome.
I have a theory for next week:
Before Mahomes was injured, I thought he was holding the ball too long and always seemed to go through his progressions before scrambling. I think he needed to throw the ball much quicker.
In comes Henne and he dinks and dunks his way right down the field 98 yards for a TD. Henne showed how this offense is meant to work.
With Mahomes having a high ankle sprain, I think this is the recipe he needs to follow… get rid of the ball QUICKLY! Dink and dunk that shit and let the other players do their thing. I really don’t want to see Mahomes scrambling a lot in the AFCCG and I don’t want to see him getting hit anymore.

The Chiefs have had more QBs win Playoff games than every team except the Packers (5), Giants (6), and ‘Skins (4). Patrick alone bests the other 3 Chiefs.

Had friend slip up the exact thing, TBF at the time we were pretty shitty.
Itโs easy to do. Iโve had rotator cuff repairs to both shoulders – try repeating shoulder surgery five times.
Had one. Worst recovery of all my surgeries.
Had both done arthroscopically, supraspinatus, subscapularis and biceps tendons all worked on in both cases. Rehab went very well and theyโve held up for over ten years, only just recently the left shoulder is complaining.
My Mrs asked me why I donโt get them both done at the same time. I looked at her and pointed to our bathroom.
Same time?? I couldn’t FEED myself for a week with just the right (dominant) one

during the 4th quarter i started rubbing my Morgan silver dollar (see avatar at left) and hoping for a good outcome, which we got.

And I removed my new (Christmas gift) Chiefs toque during halftime as my noggin was too warm. Replaced it with my weathered Chiefs cap but I was clutching that toque in my hands all the way through the second half. I may have found a new ritual.

Winning playoff games never gets old. Such a long drought after the Montana Era which I was too young to really appreciate or really remember clearly. I really try and appreciate the fact that we are going into our 5th straight afc championship game. It’s amazing.
I was young during the Dawson years so I never really appreciated the legends as much as I should. Love Marty for resurrecting the Chiefs – making the playoffs back then was celebrated like winning playoff games are now. Andy and Mahomes have moved us to our highest level.
