Taylor Swift is known for having the most iconic group of friends, and she added one more to the fold after her relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce began.

Jackson County legislator proposes new Chiefs-centric sales tax | Fox 4 KC

At least one Jackson County legislator questions the the appeal of Kansas STAR bonds.

State legislators in Kansas plan to use those public funding tools in hopes of luring the Kansas City Chiefs from their present home in Kansas City, Missouri to Wyandotte County, Kansas.

Jackson County, Missouri, legislator Manny Abarca, who represents the county’s first district, proposed a new three-sixteenths cent sales tax on Monday, earmarked for the Chiefs franchise. How we got here: A look back at what’s led to recent discussion about the Chiefs, Royals’ futures in the metro | KMBC

The future of the Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs in the metro area has been a hot topic.

And at times, it’s led to heated debate.

While both teams have a lease at the Truman Sports Complex until the end of the decade, the topic remains at the forefront as a special session of the Kansas Legislature begins and discussion continues on the Missouri side.

Gonna miss seeing Nick Allegretti on the roster, wish him well in Washington. Hunter Nourzad is the heir apparent to Allegretti, really hoping he can fill that role. Maybe even the heir to Thuney in time? And his experience playing Center makes him an even more valuable IOL roster piece.

Agreed. It’s nice to have that versatility. But as BRaG always says, OL is probably the hardest gap to fill owing to the need for linemen to jell. And the only way for that rapport and reliance on one another to completely develop is at game speed.
