One of the more unusual professional sports box scores: https://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/197811080PHI.html

Several players played for both teams in this game, including Eric Money (great name) who scored for both teams.

This game was started on November 8, 1978 but the outcome was protested by the Nets. The final 17:50 was replayed on March 23, 1979. However, the teams had a made trade between the date the game started and the date the game was finished. As a result, Eric Money, Harvey Catchings and Ralph Simpson ended up officially participating in this game for both teams.”

Worth a viewing, Charles addresses it far better than I ever could:

What we are dealing with is cartels, cartels that rightfully need to be restrained by the state because they are utilizing their power to usurp any discourse antithetical to their interests. And make no mistake, it is a cartel which is precisely why there is coordination in the banning of people from Twitter, alphabet Inc, and Facebook platforms. But it’s beyond just them, well being just them. When Andrew Torba surveyed the landscape of tech and thought there’s a market for a Twitter like platform and went about creating one called gab, he was quickly removed from payment processing, web hosting, and servers. His app was delisted by both Apple and Alphabet.

These are all practices that fall under and should be rigorously addressed via the Sherman antitrust act. But they’re not because these tyrants have completely bought and paid for politicians that may grandstand at hearings but ultimately do not one fucking thing. And the idea that these are wholly private enterprise that exist without state partnership is hogwash. Who laid all that fiberoptic cable and launched all those satellites critical to their business model, who researched and developed the web infrastructure that they’ve built on top on?

And yet bootlickers like yourself clap like trained seals when they deplatform and unbank people you dislike. And let’s be honest, it’s not because of principle because if it were to happen to you or people you admire, agree with, or personally love you would be aghast.

No, you’re happy because you see them a punishing your enemies. You’re the midget standing behind a big friend and talking tough to a person you know would destroy you if that friend wasn’t standing in the way. It’s fucking cowardly.

And very short sighted.

McCarthyism is a 22lr bullet compared to the gamma ray burst that is what’s happening right now. An unaccountable corporate plutocrat social credit system to unbank, deplatform, and unperson people for the crime of supporting a moderation of foreign trade and immigration levels.

America is rapidly turning into China, only obese and with poor math aptitude

Truth by assertion is fun and all, but how about you go ahead and produce a relevant quote by any of the well known people deplatformed calling for direct violence or muh “overthrow of the government”.

I won’t ask you to provide that for all 70,000 kicked off Twitter today.

Bro you don’t get to invent reality in your media-addled brain when there’s an actual transcript because you inferred something that wasn’t there. Here’s some actual words from his speech:

“I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.”

Reality matters. You should honestly be more enraged at the deception the media feeds you because it makes you look like a fool when the facts are so damn easy to verify.

What about Susan Rosenburg? You were a BLM supporter if i recall correctly. Did you have any conflicts of conscience about her?

Oh, are you not familiar with the name? Well, she’s on the board of directors for Thousands Currents, the organization that handles fundraising for Black Lives Matter Global. She was a member of the weather underground (stated aim of…. wait for it… overthrowing the govt of the USA) she also orchestrated the firebombing the US Senate Building in 1983 for which she was sentenced to 58 years before her sentence was committed by Bill Clinton in 2001.

That seems a bit more uh- how do you say- dedicated to the overthrow of the state than say wearing a bearskin at the shakers podium. And maybe that $10 billion dollars that saps like you gave her that was used to bail out other terrorists… I.e. people that actually burned entire cities to the ground over a 3 month period (still ongoing in Portland to total media crickets)… maybe that classified sa bit more of a carefully organized operation to undermine the authority of the us government than say wearing a bearskin in the halls of congress. I dunno, that might just be me being idiosyncratic.

I don’t point out double standards for your benefit. Because you’re an ideologue and I know that you don’t care. I do it for the benefit of others. So people with maybe a bit more intellectual honesty can appraise the relative veracity of our statements

Were it only as simple as the way you put it, both here and over the last several months. The main red flag for that is you have a very limited number of places that you place blame on. As long as you believe that it’s only one faction that’s causing all the problems, you’ll never see the whole picture.

As for the emotional components, they are well-suited for getting Pomp to argue with you, but that’s it. There can be no mutual understanding, and you’ve declared it to be that way by setting the interaction up so that the only possibility was an argument. If that’s all the two of you are up to, perhaps state at the beginning that this is a friendly argument between a pair of willing participants, or some such?

As for me, I’ve largely stopped giving voice to my opinions on this kind of topic due to the general preference for arguments that go nowhere. I much prefer discussion to argument, so…

Unfortunately the NFL has a hard cap and we’re $23 million over for 2021 right now, and trading Jones clears $20 million. It’s either trade Chris Jones, mortgage the future, or make a half dozen other cuts that will add up to being just as painful as losing Jones.

That -$13M actually understates the problem, because that’s only including 36 players that are signed for 2021, so we also need cap space to sign 15 more guys even if they’re vet minimum players.

We would still need to clear $9 million more just to get even, and probably another $10 million to sign draft picks and free agents.

The band Green Jelly is actually pronounced Green Jello. It has an accent symbol over the y I never noticed.

Their lineup at one time had Maynard and another member of Tool.

And on their one hit, the voices of the pigs were done by Maynard and Pauly Shore.

Super Bowl winning coach with a winning record doesnt tuck tail and run back to coordinator this quickly. Pederson will get a HC gig even if he has to take a year off

That was an utter travesty. How do you fire someone who wins a Super Bowl and makes the playoffs 3 out of 4 years he’s there?

They fired Andy Reid

While that’s true, Andy’s situation was a little more “wear out your welcome” and poor personnel decisions on Andy’s part. He’d been there a long time and showed no signs of bringing a Super Bowl the Philly at that point.
