Hutchinson replaced her attorney earlier this month as the select committee’s hearings began; her former attorney was the Trump White House’s chief ethics lawyer, and her new attorney is a longtime ally of former Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

Federal investigators on Wednesday conducted a search of the home of former Justice Department official Jeffrey Clark, people briefed on the matter tell CNN.
Clark is the former DOJ lawyer who former President Donald Trump sought to install as attorney general in the days before the January 6 Capitol riot as top officials refused to go along with his vote fraud claims.
It wasn’t clear what investigators were seeking at Clark’s home, but the raid was part of the Justice Department’s sweeping investigation into the effort to overturn the 2020 elections, according to sources familiar with the matter.

The search occurred on the day the Justice Department served subpoenas to people involved in the Trump campaign’s push to organize a slate of fake electors to try to certify a Trump and not Joe Biden election victory. Most (I’m thinking farm jobs, but it probably applies to most) are paid under the table, so no taxes. Here’s the problem I have: 1) I really dislike the entire “illegal immigrant” taking jobs, services, and everything that goes with them. You want in? Go through channels. 2) I realize our farm industry would likely collapse without them, our construction industry would suffer as well, and you probably couldn’t afford to eat out or buy groceries if they all disappeared tomorrow.
We’ve created a system, decades old now, and we can’t really afford to change it nor do we really have the will. Plus, it is a HUGE talking point for repubs, so they will never get onboard to actually fix it.

the local radio news had an interview with a 16 year old girl on the train. She and 5 other HS kids and a teacher and his wife were on the train out of KC heading to Chicago for a scholastic event. She said the train was packed, their seating was in the dining car along with their baggage. When the train crashed she was around the bathrooms with two older women, the train crashed and she called 911 and was on the phone with them and trying to help the older women that got trapped by dirt and rocks in the bathrooms I guess, at least one of them suffocated and died
