Chiefs fan since the ’90s. Raconteur, troublemaker and general loudmouth who makes adhering to Rule 9 a way of life. AG’s resident Fool on the Hill.
My mind can be changed, but only by proper application of facts and reason. (Hint: If you are internet-arguing, it won’t happen.)
I can be reached by adding (at)Yahoo.com to the end of my screen name. That includes if you want me to edit your fanpost, and I’ll treat it just like any other piece from the regular writers that “crosses my desk”.
I almost attached this to tomorrow’s feature, but decided to keep it low-key. I’ve tried to lean hard into providing daily Chiefs content during the week, but in spite of that, we’ve still shed familiar names. There’s nothing I can do to correct that if a commitment to that content daily won’t work, so without retreating, I’m going back to our friend Larch today.
I have some issues with this article, mainly that it ignores organized group hunts that are intended to exterminate entire sounders. Those exist, but the author relegates them to sport hunting by omission. That said, I agree that sport hunting won’t help control wild/feral swine. In a way, this even validates Nugent’s notorious hunt for them with fully automatic rifles from a helicopter. The point is to exterminate the sounder, and that method’s effective. But boo, Teddy, cuz guns is evil.
I’ve watched several foreign channels react to Mr Rogers, and their impressions are both unique, and yet the same. Perhaps that’s the essence of Fred Rogers, since that’s how he saw everyone else.

Lived in Arizona for 10 years, did a lot of hiking and always carried a S&W 44 mag (only for self defense) because of the Javelina.

A gold standard of design that changed the game forever.
