Ever wondered what other fan bases of teams who play the Chiefs are thinking? What all their dark, sadistic, and twisted thoughts and opinions are? Wonder no more friend! Prepare to enter the unholy mind of an opposing Chargers fan in this weeks edition of “Interview with a Fanpire.”

Featuring @SSBChuck

Notice the longing gaze. That is the gaze of a man longing for a QB named Patrick Mahomes.

Me: First of all, congrats on beating Cincinnati! Must feel really good beating a rookie starting QB and a bunch of misfit toys in tiger striped clothing. How did Tyrod pull off that incredible feat?

Chuck: I want to honestly say first and foremost, rain or shine, I’m definitely one of Tyrod’s supporters. From day 1. I believe in him. I also believe it wasn’t the best performance but it was what we needed to win. Not having an off-season really hurts rhythm. Unless you’re Mahomes, obviously 😂. I feel he did the right things at the right times to stretch plays and keep key drives alive.

Me: What is a realistic record for the Chargers this year?

Chuck: This week coming up is huge for that question. We win this, and that’s a confidence boost that’ll last the whole season. If not, things will get bumpy but nothing too extreme they can’t handle. 11-5 ceiling, 9-7 floor.

Me: How do you feel about your QB situation?

Chuck: Very blessed and optimistic for the future. This no-offseason in a way helped us, I believe. Herbert sitting a year obviously sucks for him, but in the long run all the knowledge he’ll soak up will for sure be worth it. Seeing Mahomes play 2 times might actually help him add somethings to his repertoire. He can move, he’s tall, the leadership is there. The swag. Herbert legit has the tools to compete with Mahomes for the next 5-6. It’s all about patience and picking from all these brains we have on our roster.

Me: If I told you that you were viewed as one of the worst fans in your fan base by Chiefs twitter, how would that make you feel?

Chuck: Elated LMAO. I could care less what any Chiefs fan thinks 😂. Glad to know I’m on the minds of the masses

Me: Who is your least favorite opposing fan on Twitter?

Chuck: Without a doubt the one dude. Chiefs fan. His name is like AB (@AB3127_) and then some numbers😂😂. Guy ALWAYS mentions me on Twitter dude. I don’t say a word and he’s always on my posts😂. It’s quite hilarious in a way but weird in another.

Me: Rank AFC West fans you have encountered on Twitter from best to worst.

Chuck: To be honest…I don’t even pay Raiders fans any mind on here LMFAOOO!

Me: *Nods in agreement*

Chuck: Don’t have any fans I dislike there…and it’s not really a disliking ’cause it’s all fun and love at the end of the day for sure.

Me: Has it been hard to sell your life-size anatomically correct Phillip Rivers body pillow on eBay?

Chuck: Almost as hard as it is for y’all to spell his name right.

Me: *Checks spelling*…………………………………….dammit

Me: Keenan Allen or Tyreek Hill?

Chuck: That’s hard dude. This year? Tyreek. The connection Phil and Keenan had would make me go with them. For careers, Keenan.

Me: So, you’re saying in TOTAL at the end, Allen over Hill? Or up to this point in their careers, Allen over Hill?

Chuck: Yes. Up to this point. Keenan Allen over Hill. I like speed. I love speed! But Keenan’s release and route running just wins me over. Also, the fact that he’s always reliable and has caught over 300 balls the past 3 seasons. Ever since that injury in KC, he’s been golden

Me: I don’t want to think about that game. He was absolutely murdering Marcus Peters until that injury. It was embarrassing to watch…

Chuck: Yeah man…he’s an animal. Especially when there’s emotions involved. Unfortunately, he was TOO involved in killing Peters and took himself out.

Me: Who’s better, the Chargers’ secondary without Derwin or Chiefs’ secondary without Ward?

Chuck: Chargers… we still have Casey and Chris Harris as well as Desmond King. 3 pro bowlers.

Me: Who is the most overrated Chief and the most underrated Charger?

Chuck: Most overrated Chief? Hmmmmm…to be honest dude, there isn’t really an overrated Chief. Weird to say too. I joke about Mahomes being overrated but that’s just smoke. For the Chargers, Nasir Adderley. Not necessarily underrated but that hamstring issue took him out the whole rookie season last year so in a sense, he’s under the radar. He could be a very good player.

Me: I know our draft guys gushed over him. He fell lower in the draft than we expected!

Me: Who has less fans, a high school production of Romeo and Juliet or the Chargers at a home game?

Chuck: LMFAOOO. That joke has gotta end dude😂😂😂! We have fans. I swear the world will respect us someday again.😂😂

Me: What’s your LEAST favorite thing about Chiefs fans?

Chuck: The fact that a lot of y’all are old and miserable. There’s a good amount of younger fans that are chillin. I do enjoy interacting with the ones that know how to joke. Older fans get so mad so easy they forget what’s left from right.

Me: 5 years from now, who owns the AFC West?

Chuck: Chargers. The cap will eventually get y’all. I don’t know how, I don’t know when, but you will eventually have to deal with all these big contracts and that will be the downfall of this potential “dynasty.”

Me: *Stares angrily at the word “dynasty” in quotation marks*

Me: Last one before game predictions. How do you see the AFC West playing out this year? Rank the teams #1 through #4.

Chuck: Chiefs 13-3, Chargers 11-5, Raiders 10-6, Broncos 7-9.

Me: Alright man, moment of truth. What player are we all talking about after the game, who wins, and what is the final score?

Chuck: I wholeheartedly believe the Chargers can pull this out. It’ll take ball control and a better run game than the Chiefs to win. We’ll be talking about Josh Kelley and his 100 yards and 2 TDs. And I’m sticking with Chargers 27 Chiefs 24

Be sure to follow Chuck at @SSBChuck on Twitter, and make sure you let him know who owns the West! Go Chiefs!

Need to lower both the ceiling & floor on the Chargers. I would say 9-7 is their ceiling and 5-11 is the floor. Easily fighting for the bottom of the AFC West at the end of the year. Tyrod ain’t it and when they put the rookie in it is going to be for reps to prepare for next year.

Before I even read it Im gonna call BS, I dont believe you found a Los Diego Chargers fan, because well we all know why. Now to actually read it and see what this paid for actor has to say

well if you listen to what this guy has to say we’re just not creative enough to come up with something that clever and our jokes are old and stale. That said, Ill try to remember to use that from now on and even though I disagreed with 99% of what he said (I think the only thing he got right was nobody on the Chiefs is overrated) I liked the article and would love to see more each week

One Tier 3 person from last Thursday’s Texans-Chiefs opener – a groundskeeper – tested positive but he was nowhere near the players, per source. A strong start to the season for the NFL and NFLPA.

It’s the start of Week 2, and there’s still significant information from Week 1: COVID-19 tests on all Houston Texans and Kansas City Chiefs players, coaches and team employees came back negative this week, per source. They were the first returned tests from 2020 regular season.

My poll of NFL folks last week reflects this, one million percent.
Got 53 ballots back from HCs, GMs, scouts, OCs, QB coaches.
Two things were CRYSTAL clear …

• Patrick Mahomes was an overwhelming No. 1.

• Russell Wilson was an overwhelming No. 2.

When the Kansas City Chiefs faced a fourth-and-1 at their own 34-yard line in the first quarter against the Houston Texans, what did Reid do? Uncharacteristically, he kept his offense out on the field and went for it.
“Well, listen, that’s one that could go either way and you know that,” Reid said. “So, if you don’t get it then you don’t look so good, but I just felt like we needed to do that there and I thought we had a good play, so we ended up doing it.
It was something that no team had done during the first quarter throughout the entire 2019 season.

Hey this was great. Enjoyed reading it and smiling. “Why can’t we be friends?” We need more of that these days. We may like different sports teams, but we are all still on the same team as Americans and human beings before God Almighty.

By and large this guy seems like a pretty good dude, aside from the good-natured ribbing that we as fans all do. I’ve met Chargers fans who I wanted to push into traffic (but their fan base isn’t nearly as bad as the Donkeys or Lost Wages Faders fanbases), but for the most part I’ve gotten along with the Chargers fan base.

That being said, this is rivalry week, and there can be no love for the Chargers. As always (and more this week than most), go Chiefs!

Chargers fans, at least in San Diego, have been good to me. A lot of good natured back and forth. Broncos fans In mile high are a bit edgier, but generally okay. I’ve never been to a Raiders game on the road because they seem scary, but may try in Las Vegas.

Yeah, the raiders screwed the pooch by moving to LV. They’ll never have the black hole there with visiting team’s fans having cheap airfare. It’s going to be a Sea of Red when we play them the first time there after covid.

Good stuff, cant blame a guy for optimism. I mean if we are going ball control I’ll take the chiefs with the best QB in the league with the leading rusher on the league to win. Not to mention Andy Reid owns division opponents.

All good though I always found a way to make myself think the chiefs were going to win even when they sucked.

Looking at their schedule the Chargers got lucky with their home and away teams. They play a lot of their tough opponents that they would already have a tough time beating on the road. Go ahead and chalk up the saints, bucs, and bills as losses at home or on the road. But they get very beatable teams like the falcons, panthers and patriots at home. (Raiders are similar). Additionally the chargers thursday game is just a short trip to vegas.

Compare this to the Donkeys who are going to have a very tough time beating those same teams at home and struggle going to the east coast to play those exact same teams. Plus their thursday game is way out in new york against the jets.

Chargers pathetically losing all of their division games last year has led them to get to play the bengals and jags instead of the donkeys playing the titans and steelers.

Conclusion. While I admit Im a hater (see my name) the donkeys arent going to sniff 7-9 this year, and the chargers could be our biggest competition. Its going to be a dog fight for second place between the chargers and raiders and if they can beat the donkeys twice and win their head to head matchups 11-5 seems like a reasonable, all be it unlikely ceiling for either the raiders or chargers.

That has got to be one of the most believable catfishing accounts on twitter…
Almost enough to make you believe there are some that care about the carpetbaggers.
The other choice is that this is all Jackson Chiefs writing, which would be even more AWESOME!
