 (A Chiefs’ poem by 3rdnlong) – NFL 2021 Week 4 – KC 42, PHI 30 

“For the Win” 

Back again in the column on the left
Chiefs get a “W”, leave Eagles bereft.
The Chiefs came in and scored for more
As KC flattened Philly today in week 4.

Tyreek was the man, scoring three touchdowns.
Jody Fortson too, and Clyde on the ground.
Rushing for more than a hundred today
Getting seven or eight yards a play.

Mahomes tossed it up for 5 whole scores.
A few shovel passes, and airing it for more.
The Chiefs had the way, and we had the means.
Andy coaches 100 wins with two teams.

Where was the defense?  They hardly showed up.
Sneed forced a fumble.  A few guys played tough.
But the Red Zone is an open invitation
For rival offenses to have celebrations.

Not to worry, today, for KC.
Offensive production, points in the 40s.
Even a pick couldn’t set Mahomes back.
Philly had no answer for our offense attack.

Finally!  We end this game with thrills
As we now set our sights on the Buffalo Bills.
