“Easy Win”

Don’t look at the standings. Jaguars are rising.
Stars of the future on this team are comprising.
But they aren’t in the high class of KC yet.
‘Cause when they came to the Chiefs’ home base,
They couldn’t keep up, left with frustrated face
And Chiefs poured on another win without a sweat.

The first half was epic.  A lot went our way.
Patrick Mahomes was having a day
And Jags’ D couldn’t keep up to save their lives.
On the flip side on defense, our front four excelled
As their vaunted RB’s torching burst they quelled,
Thanks to all the pressure-bringing plays that Spags contrives.

Former Chiefs’ assistant Doug Peterson
Is now coaching Jax, and wanted the win,
And maybe he will get some after coaching them more.
But today, the master was clearly in charge
And the student had to learn many lessons large,
‘Cause Andy Reid knows how to leave with the higher score.

It’s amazing when your team wins by double digits
Even though you threw a pick and your RB had fidgets
And we had three turnovers, giving them back the ball.
But what can you say?  It’s how the Chiefs roll –
All over the opponents and breaking their soul.
‘Cause when the Chiefs play, they always bring it all.

One scary moment has got us enraged.
Juju got leveled by a Jaguar uncaged,
His head got hit, and is now getting checked for concussion.
Juju was defenseless!  The refs threw a flag
But then picked it up, put it back in their bag
And said ‘No foul.”  Chiefs are wanting repercussions.  

Four touchdowns thrown.  One to Noah Gray,
MVS, Kelce and “Intensity K” –
That’s Kadarius Toney, whose eyes are truly freaky.
It was his first ever NFL score
And now being here, you know he’ll get more
‘Cause Andy Reid has a way of being sneaky.

All in all, it was a very fine game.
Carlos Dunlap has 100 sacks to his name.
And the Chiefs’ brought back a ‘W’, as expected.
Against a lesser foe, KC played like we do
And got an easy win vs. Doug and his crew
It never gets old, seeing Chiefs’ rivals get subjected.
