Breaking News: Chiefs Punter Tommy Townsend Is Your September AFC Player Of The Month

Considering he’s 3rd in the punter rankings, this award is well deserved.

Also interesting that former Chief Melvin Ingram is the defensive player of the month.

Good for Tommy, but I’d rather have a kick or punt returner as the ST player of the month.

Thought this read CEH – was player of the month – hahahahahaaaaa

CEH – week 3 rushing stats:

  • 7 rushing attempts for ZERO yards

Week 2: 74 rushing yards, one was a CAREER long 52 yard run……that any RB could have ran thru that running lane

Veach, Andy, EB — TRADE for a RB!! (11/1 is NFL trade deadline)
Stop wasting Patrick, Travis & all the OTHER chiefs players talent.

What RB do you want?

Hunt, who is currently the top RB in rushing.

Kidding. He has a worse AVG than CEH.

Zero yards for a RB doesn’t concern you? It sure as heck does me.

I feel like the O-line is the main issue. We aren’t using big, powerful RB’s (like oh, I don’t know… Ronald Jones) that can smash his way forward. Pacheco maybe, but he’s not getting enough carries to make a big difference early in games.

CEH and McKinnon are guys that need space to work and the O-line just isn’t doing it in short yardage situation.

Maybe Pacheco needs to be in there more for those situations.

Only thing I can think of is that Rojo can’t pick up Andy’s offense. Because I would work him hard first two quarters then bring in CEH and McKinnon. And yes I’m excited to see Pacheco, but mainly because the other three have shown absolutely nothing. When your QB has more rushing yards than your RB something is wrong.

Bro, weren’t not getting a RB. Wish we had better options, but doubt very seriously that will happen. Wylie has done ok, but he’s a solid backup. Would like to pick-up a RT. Doubt if that happens either. Glad we didn’t sign OBJ to a large contract, we might need a LT for next year. When I see a RB go for zero yards, that is a major concern. Was hoping CEH would take a big step forward (still might happen), but after everything is said and done, you and Eafox might be proven right.

I just want to WIN many many SB………
must have a RUNNING GAME

and STOP wasting Patrick & the TEAM talent.
I’m sure veach will make a RB trade —— in April Browns were asking for a 3rd or 4th round pick……..trade Hardman & CEH would get it done.

I’ll leave the “dealing” to Veach & Andy—— they both know. CEH is & has been an ISSUE.
