If it’s in a comic strip it must be accurate.

Lately I’ve been too-interested in the wretchedness of the NFC East. It may be possible for the Eagles to win the division with a 5-10-1 record. To beat them, the other teams would have to get to 6 wins. Below is a list of the teams and their remaining schedules. For remaining games within the division I have added how each team has fared already this season against their in-division rivals (shown in parentheses).

Philadelphia (currently 3-5-1) – if they don’t beat the Browns this weekend they’ll likely have to beat both Cowboys and Washington to get to 5 wins. Getting to 6 wins would likely clinch the division since it is unlikely any of their division-mates can get the 7 wins it would take to pass them.

@Browns
Seahawks
@Packers
Saints
@Cardinals
@Cowboys (beat the Cowboys in Philly)
Washington (lost to Washington in DC)

Giants (currently 3-7) – They’ve been playing a bit better lately. Can they beat the Bengals, Browns and Cowboys to get to 6 wins? They don’t play this Sunday.

@Bengals
@Seahawks
Cardinals
Browns
@Ravens
Cowboys (lost to Cowboys in Dallas)

Washington (currently 2-7) – Alex threw for 390 yards last week and they still lost to the Lions. Where will they pick up 4 wins to get to 6?

Bengals
@Cowboys (beat them in DC)
@Steelers
@49ers
Seahawks
Panthers
@Eagles (beat them in DC)

Dallas (currently 2-7) – Good news is they play 3 games inside their division. Bad news is they lost to two of them earlier this year. Do you see 4 wins here?

@Vikings
Washington (lost to Wash in DC)
@Ravens
@Bengals
49ers
Eagles (lost to Eagles in Philly)
@Giants (beat the Giants in Dallas)

“Yeesh, I struggled again last week, going all of 9-5. This week’s road winners: WTF, I mean WFT*, Bucs, Bills?, Seahawks, Ravens, and Vikes.” Missed on the Colts, so I went 9-5 on the week.

This week’s road winner forecast: Cards, Steelers, Patriots, ‘Phins, Packers, and of course the Chiefs. Check back next week to see how badly I fall on my face this time.

They had better, or I’m gonna throw a huge hissy fit. 😠

 I’m sure they’re going to throw everything and the kitchen sink at them to embarrass them on national television.

I hope they do win. Don’t want Steelers fans getting uppity. They have a habit of doing that.

I get that you’re all in and have been all week but I am glad you aren’t investing mortgage money. It’s a bad line but Pitt is still far more likely to win outright

Going balls to the wall with the big risk, big reward approach, eh? That’s a bold strategy, Tony. Let’s see how that works out for you.
