Nagy making bad decisions

It’s a meaningless comparison, but based on what I’ve seen today, I’d much rather have our OL than Chicago’s group. Ouch.

Since the season has started again, the Afternight on Sundays and Mondays will necessarily adjust to account for it. In accordance with that, I’ve scheduled it for 2300AST, same as a normal weeknight.

That should provide an adequate amount of time for the current exhibition game to wind down.

More like Montgomery, from the little I’ve watched it.

I wanted to draft Hicks when he came out.

Fields looks like Lamar Jackson – Bears better hope that he can pass better.

I think Fields is as much a product of his schools superiority all around him as it is how good he is. Same story with Lawrence. He just always had the better team on the field

You hit the nail on the head – stacked college teams make evaluation of the individual talent much much harder.

So do teams without much talent, as was the case for Mahomes. Statistical review is easy, learning the context is hard, and takes much longer. Guess which future GM was willing to put in the work, both evaluating the context and convincing the coach?

Oh, that’s right! Someone who still owes us a tattoo has always said he’s a terrible GM, too. Not that I’m dropping any names, here. 😛

Andy was able to keep Mahomes on the bench cause Alex was winning. Dalton is going to be the death of this franchise.

No, but it may be the death of Nagy’s role as their HC. He came in with the rep of being a QB guru, but it hasn’t worked out that way. That might have something to do with why EB’s still our OC, as I expect the two are friends, at some level.

Read some comments over at the Cleveland site – some are grumbling against Mayfield but many are supporting him. One post – with 10 recs – favored getting rid of Mayfield AND believed that they gave up on Kizer to soon. We win that game by 40 points if Kizer had been the quarterback.

Last I knew, he was with GB but that has been awhile. Love replaced Rodgers at some point in the blowout. Wonder how he will react to that.
