My mind can be changed, but only by proper application of facts and reason. (Hint: If you are internet-arguing, it won’t happen.)
I can be reached by adding (at)Yahoo.com to the end of my screen name. That includes if you want me to edit your fanpost, and I’ll treat it just like any other piece from the regular writers that “crosses my desk”.
Cincy or faiders? I’d love to beat the faiders 3! times in a year. The last one booting their asses out of the dance. But I’d like a do over with the NFL’s new golden boys. I guess I just want to crush the hopes and dreams of the team who’s victory still stings. I want to crush the orange.
I do not care … the Chiefs have to beat the Steelers before any of that matters, and after that they have to beat whoever they play, and that’s pretty much all that matters far as I’m concerned
the Chiefs ARE the “better team” but that’s not a guarantee the the Chiefs will win …
Big Ben is very good at getting the ball out quickly, so if the KC D-Line isn’t able to get to him quickly, the Steelers can play their “short game” even w/o RB Harris
On the flip side, the Steelers Defense is pretty good, esp Watt & Heyward … if those two get going and get pressure on Mahomes it COULD make for a long day at Arrowhead
Chiefs SHOULD be able to grab an early lead with their usual success of scripted plays to start with, the big question is “what comes after THAT?” and that’s where things get a bit cloudy … moreover, the Steelers are a team with no quit: they can be relentless in the second half and even a small “spark” can lead to them scoring a couple or three TDs within a short amount of time (they’re like sharks: one TD almost always means more, and it’s like a feeding frenzy for a few minutes of game time)
I hope the Chiefs win by 50 points, I’ll be delighted if the Chiefs win, period … and they SHOULD win, this game especially … but even if they lose, it’s already been a miraculously fun season for Chiefs Kingdom
Hahaha……glad you had fun with the season . So your going to love the ass-whooping we put on Big Ben and the Steelers tomorrow.
They don’t even belong in the playoffs, chiefs score early and often. Hopefully pulling starters in the third quarter..
Come on Ups love ya, throw all that negativity out the window this weekend.
This game is going to be fun to watch.
Home of the CHIEFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😁
no doubt … and look, it isn’t “negativity” per se, just sayin’ … hey, the Chiefs aren’t perfect: it’s a team full of real, actual humans who have flaws and make mistakes … same with the Steelers (only not as talented) BUT they have their pride and hey, any given Sunday shit (but I do hope the Chiefs blow ’em outta Arrowhead before halftime)
The whole Ben “storybook ending” always scares me. Look at Tom Terrific last year. Changed teams. We won earlier in year. Playing in their stadium. I just mean I think we win but the “Football Gods” need to keep the book closed or at least have it open to the pages of Pat rewriting it all.
great article and certainly hits “close to home” … personally I’m sick of the “double standard” BS, not JUST the NFL of course, but the NFL might be the most visible
its such a bogus narrative. Winning is all that matters and I’m pretty sure the owners dont care who is calling the plays. What do all of these fired coaches this year have in common, both white and black? Not much success on the playoffs. People want to talk about race etc, but one of the whitest coaches in history, good ol’ Marty, got shit-canned after a 14 win season because he lost in the playoffs. Win playoff games and you keep your job. Culley never looked particularly great coaching the Texans, probably should get more than oner season, but he aint the first guy to only make it one year. Remember Crennell? Didnt hear anybody crying about how unfair it was that an coach of color got fired after one season then. Firing Flores was a mistake, he will be successful when he is hired elsewhere, but still, 3 years and no playoff wins. He and Bienemy will almost certainly get HC gigs, and to keep them, they will have to get to the playoffs and win in the playoffs. Tomlin did that consistently. None of the others have.

Well, Andy seems to have their number for most games, so in that respect, maybe.
Sometimes, you let your enemy advance… into the trap.
