Money’s the controlling factor, and thus the staff keep quiet, but if Chris believes he can still be a plus contributor out there, I’m good with it. That’s before I mention that I’ve repeatedly said that when I watched him, I didn’t see a guy tasked with pass rushing, but one primarily setting the edge, and only going in then or on obvious passing downs. If the money matches the value, let’s go!
Also:
interesting
I actually knew that, without knowing I knew that
I didn’t know that, but I did know that flour sacks were frequently repurposed as clothing, mainly from a story I once read that included a young lady who was embarrassed of her Baker’s Best panties, since they indicated poverty. But of course the cloth of flour sacks had to be good quality, since you can’t use gunny sacks.
Rings true to me.
I do and I see these flour/potato sacks going for 50 bucks a pop at the flea/ antique stores I go to
It’s one of those things that as soon as you hear it you know you’ve heard it before, but not something you’d come up with on your own. Read a tidbit about it somewhere.
nice
That’s really good

Royals’ Zack Greinke becomes fifth pitcher in MLB history to strike out 1000 different hitters
kewl
very very cool
partly he’s just that good and partly longevity … congrats Zack
The “Cheers” bar, the actual bar used in the show is up for auction. Bid now!

I got some spare change to pitch in … maybe if everyone on AG donates … nah, no way we have enough collectively for something like that
be interesting to see how much someone somewhere pays for it (among other auction items)
Wow! Arlington crushing DC in the XFL title game in case any of you care
To all the mothers of the mother lovers on this site……Happy mothers day. To my mom, burn in hell you %^&*
not everyone wants Frank Clark back with the Chiefs
also, my mother passed many years ago, should I hire a psychic to contact her?
Sorry to hear that. I would love Frank back ala a Carlos Dunlap type of deal. That is a very young DL room that could use some vet leadership
I thought CJ *was* the Veteran Leadership … should be part & parcel of why gets a shitload of money (one might think)
and sorry things didn’t go well between you and your mother, that sux
12/21/2012, love you mom
don’t recall the date, but I’ll echo echo echo your sentiments
That’s my mom’s birthday. She’s still with us. 94.
Enjoy.
I asked about the Kevin Harlan version of the SB, and this is what I got back:
Not quite yet. Soon! I’ve had to travel a lot recently and my laptop isn’t great for video editing. I’m working on it at home whenever I get some free time.
So, it’s still in the works
love Harlan … one of my all-time fave play by play guys in any sport, local or national
Al Michaels is another and Vin Scully
With you on 2 of those three. Michaels…I’m over him. He was something else in 1980, but that was a long time ago.
fair nuff
If Frank comes back it will be on our terms, not his. CJ95 needs to understand that since we still need to extend him.
thank you
I am in Dallas for The Cure.
My stepmother lives in Dallas.
I have never seen her on Mother’s Day.
I called and told her I would be in town.
She had already made plans to go to Florida.
I used to call my ex-MIL every Mom’s day. First year I did it, she freaked out and called my ex to see what was going on. After that, she looked forward to my call more than her own kids.
just figures, huh
You gong to Atheist and Cynic in Lawerence next month? I am really going o try to make that show. It will be the first concert I have gone since Suffocation (or was it Gary Newman?)
Not my jam. I am spending the day before that floating with friends.
It was Chiefdog that said he was going.
Who’s our last? Google it and get back to me.
Um…Vikings?
Mahomes I can see. Cousins? The only team he’s missing has to be Washington. Mahomes is NEVER beating all 32. EVER.
Kirk cousins has beating WAS twice
Has he never beaten the Vikings?
looks like the only team he hasn’t beaten is KC
https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/C/CousKi00/gamelog/
And the Bengals, per Concussed
I think you may be right. 🙂
Last player to beat 31 teams?
AS. 0-2 vs KC
Mahomes can’t beat 32 until he plays for a team other than the Chiefs.
Kirk has never beaten the Chiefs or Bengals.
Like I said. Never ever.
I’d like to request a do-over.
Cousins is one of the most infuriating QBs in recent memory. ”Wins” a ton of games, always puts up very good stats, has a lot of talent and seems to play with an edge. Yet, something seems to be lacking
He is the perfect Vikings QB, because that is a very good description of the Vikings.
I remember Mahomes saying one time that he was the guy he studied to work on learning how to pocket pass.
He’s a very good QB . He just can’t close for some reason
Seems like one of those technically sound guys that’s just missing the “it” factor.
Very Elvis Grbac esqe IMO
A lot of guys have defeated 31 NFL teams… 31 different ones is a bit tougher!
Not as many as you’d think. All Current NFL QBs W/L records. A crap ton with less than 31 wins for their career.
why do you hate Tyler Palko? 😉😉😉
has anyone beaten all 32? Brady maybe? Manning? Montana? just curious …
Favre and Peyton , Brady
thanks, now we know
yeah, Nova’s right: that’s a record Mahomes will NEVER EVER break
we hope
