The Cotton Bowl is ranked the 4th best bowl game this year, and considering there are 41 (!) of them, that’s impressive
https://sports.yahoo.com/college-bowl-rankings-best-games-023719169.html

Missouri is in a New Year’s Six bowl game for the first time since 2013. Ohio State could have some opt-outs for the NFL Draft, but this should be a fantastic matchup no matter what. Missouri RB Cody Schrader led the SEC in rushing, while the Buckeyes defense gives up just 4.1 yards per play and 11 points per game.

interesting statement in that zebra link …

Former NFL vice president of officiating Dean Blandino said this week that the non-call against Valdes-Scantling was the most obvious missed call he has seen since that Rams-Saints NFC Championship Game in 2018

gosh, ya think?

Anyone who thought we were gonna get fair officiating in that game is delusional. In Green Bay? When that team is improving? Forget about it and move on.

Why do you do this? It’s perfectly ok to talk about your favorite team as “we” and “us”. You get invested, and it all becomes personal.

I was all set to point out to “someone” about the SOTH’s comment that separation of the church and state was “misunderstood”, that what the founders wanted was for the government not to interfere with the Church, not the other way around, but the site crashed and the moment was gone.
But since you brought it up: https://thehill.com/homenews/house/4308643-speaker-johnson-separation-of-church-state-a-misnomer/
Imagine. For 200+ years we had it wrong. Thank god for Speaker Johnson to straighten us all out

if that was the case it would not have even been mentioned, since there were many churches and many religeons

the obvious is never thought about

Of the 56 signers, nearly half (26) held academic degrees in theology or biblical studies.
A large number of signers were Freemasons.
Quakers tended to oppose the American revolution. In 1775, the Society of Friends denounced the deliberations going on in Independence Hall.

100 billion souls is the path of moral leadership

Collective Soul

The term was introduced by the French sociologist Emile Durkheim, who described it as follows:

“The totality of beliefs and sentiments common to the average members of a society forms a determinate system with a life of its own. It can be termed the collective or creative consciousness.”

Collective consciousness has also been termed “hive mind”, “group mind”, “mass mind”, and “social mind”. Society is made up of various collective groups such as the family, community, organizations, regions and nations. Such collective groups possess capability to think, judge, decide, act, reform; to conceptualize self and others as well as self’s actions and interactions; and to reflect. And that is why they greatly influence the collective consciousness of a particular society.

Difference between Theism and Deism

Key Difference: Both Theism and Deism are schools of thought dealing primarily with the presence of God and his role in our lives. Theism is the belief that at least one god exists and that he or they created the universe and governs it. Deism is the belief that a higher being, i.e. god exists, but does not tell people what to do.

Anatomically modern humans appeared around 300,000 years ago in Africa,[4][5][6] and 70,000 years ago gradually supplanted the “archaic” human varieties. Non-modern varieties of Homo are certain to have survived until after 30,000 years ago, and perhaps until as recently as 12,000 years ago.[b] According to recent genetic studies, modern humans may have bred with two or more groups of archaic humans, including Neanderthals and Denisovans.[11] Other studies have cast doubt on admixture being the source of the shared genetic markers between archaic and modern humans, pointing to an ancestral origin of the traits which originated 500,000–800,000 years ago.[12][13][14] In August 2023, scientists reported the discovery of an unknown ancient human hominin that may have lived 300,000 years ago in China.[15][16]

we are such babies on this planet

450 million years old

  • Sharks are 450 million years old and have been on this planet longer than almost any other animal. They have lived through every major mass extinction event and have survived long past many of their competitors. With over 3,000 species spanning nearly half a billion years, sharks are one of the most evolutionarily successful species to ever live.

if we assume 300,000 years of modern human

and assume we create a new generation roughly at 16 years as women birth children

that would be 18,750 generations of humans….

  • They estimate that 109 billion people have lived and died over the course of 192,000 years.
  • And that 7% of all humans who have ever lived are alive today.
