Still not sure what’s up with Brown, other than presuming he’s getting some very bad advice. Holding out can only hurt him, and not just in KC, but around the league, as well. It’s not that I condemn all players who hold out, but it’ll be obvious to most GMs who bother to look that he’s got a lot of the blame for the failed negotiations, for dragging his feet seeking competent representation, then hiring a firm that’s an NFL rookie when dealing with a team that has to carefully navigate the cap. Such contracts have to be intricate, I should think.
And if his attitude is “I’d like to see them try to replace me!”, what he seems to be missing is that there are competent LTs who can do just that. Maybe not as well, but for less money and far less hassle. Skipping camp will only ensure that he’s not ready to go if he does decide to play the season out, even presuming he’s in post-camp shape, which he likely won’t be in. Makes no sense at all that I can discern.

Bolton certainly belongs on this list after his rookie campaign and I’d say that lumping him in this tier is a fair assessment. After little in the way of expectations, Bolton was leading all rookies in the NFL in tackles by Week 6. The No. 58 overall pick in the 2021 NFL draft, Bolton appeared in 16 regular-season games for the Chiefs last season. He started 12 of those games for the team, leading the K.C. defense in total tackles (112) and tackles for loss (11) by the season’s end. Bolton became just the ninth rookie to ever hit those marks in the past 21 NFL seasons, joining Colts LB Darius Leonard, who is ranked in PFF’s ‘elite’ tier for linebackers. Perhaps Bolton could join Leonard in that tier sooner than expected.
Bolton would go on to be named the Mack Lee Hill recipient for the Chiefs in 2021, denoting the team’s Rookie of the Year. That’s impressive considering the team also had two rookie starters on the offensive line worthy of recognition.

In his annual pre-camp news conference, Chiefs president Mark Donovan said the team will start construction inside Arrowhead ahead of the World Cup during the summer of 2025. The Chiefs will have to remove & adjust a number of seats in the corners & front rows for the pitch.
and fix the CRAP sound system – the worse sound system for an NFL stadium that I’ve been in.
I hope Spain plays at Arrowhead. If so, I’ll take my Spanish wife. That would be kick ass!!!
