They were saying Mahome (Hatrick Mahomes. I like that) didn’t have that defining last drive to win it, and I thought what? OT against Buffalo? 13 seconds? What are they looking for? They seemed to think he had it now, though. Guess they meant in the Super Bowl.

Just about 2 minutes ago I learned that the Pontiac Silverdome is named after the City of Pontiac (which I didn’t know existed), where it is located, and not the car manufacturer.

Different career projections for Trubisky and Mahomes. Watson has sucked pretty bad in clevland as well.

Afc team painting theselves into a corner. I actually think their coach and overall culture are much improved the last few years, but paying 64 mill a year for a 15 million qb is a back breaker.

Can’t get over the fact that the Raiders moved to Vegas, built a brand new state or the art stadium, got given the Super Bowl to host, and we went in there and won it.

heck, I was at a local thrift floor and they had a Preist holmes jersey for $15. I thought – great. then I noticed it was a medium. If you ever travel, check out the thrift stored in other areas. sometimes you might find some gems.

George Toma, a 95-year-old former Kansas City Chiefs groundskeeper, had worked every single Super Bowl since the very first. But after a slippery playing surface in Arizona last year garnered harsh criticism from players and fans, the NFL hoped to avoid turf troubles in Las Vegas.Kansas City groundskeeping legend George Toma made a big splash at last year’s Super Bowl, when the Chiefs won their third in franchise history. But the field conditions in Arizona made headlines in all the wrong ways.
This year, the NFL wants to avoid a repeat of those turf woes. And Toma, for the first time ever, isn’t on the scene to monitor it.
“Maybe something now will change,” said Toma on the prospects for this year’s field.
Across the country, Toma is known as “The Sodfather.” In Kansas City, George Toma’s career as a groundskeeper goes all the way back to the days of the Kansas City Athletics and the old Municipal Stadium, at 22nd Street and Brooklyn Avenue.
