Hmmm that’s wild to me. I remember when this site was launched from AP defectors and he was really leading the charge. It is what it is but since I’ve come back around I was surprised not to see him or some of the other old heads from back in the day

He deeded the place to Tomy Somer, and went off to do other things. A lot of folks drifted off after the initial “stick it to the man” phase lost its glow. The folks here now form a pretty solid core.

Here’s a link to some pretty cool videos of Karlaftis and Reid reaching out to a little girl with some major health issues. How cool is it that the Chiefs have guys who would take the time to do that during SB week. https://www.facebook.com/sara.kaderly

Seems like the Chiefs are embracing being the villain now. To the rest of the NFL, if you’re truly sick of us and don’t want to see us in more Super Bowls…play better.

And even then, it still might not be enough.

It’s mostly the Broncos, Raiders, and Chargers fault. If they could consistently beat us we wouldn’t win so many games.

I think the same can be said of playoff teams. Bengals, Bills, Ravens, etc.

helluva good day in KC

Chiefs begin Super Bowl week festivities
Royals Sign our star Shortstop to a 7 year extension
World Cup announces 6 games in KC during world cup and maybe the German team is going to use KC as its extended home for the Cup

“Today is a huge win for Kansas City,” Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas said. “And it’s another sign of the great work we’ve done and the great work ahead.”
Kansas City’s matches, at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, will take place on June 16, 20, 25 and 27 in 2026. The knockout round game will be played on July 3.
The quarterfinal will be played July 11.

I was listening to some PFF podcast trash today. (KC radio was talking about fucking baseball. This is no time for baseball talk. No matter what player signed what deal, who cares.) They had an interesting take. Basically we have worse OTs than last season.

Imo, I dont miss Oralando. He wasnt bad but I dont think Donovan is a downgrade. About even.

On the right side, I realize Jawaan has gotten too much laundry but I still prefer him over wylie who imo was a high end back up type player.

we cannot leave either Tackle one on one vs Bosa

chip, add a TE, pacheco, whatever it takes to keep him away from Mahomes

seems running at him would be a good plan

He hasnt been that dominate this year. 10.5 sacks. Andy is good a nuetrilizing the opposing teams best pass rusher typically as well.

just put Sneed and McDuffie on the top two WR’s and take em away

that TE that was tearing it up with Andrews out…..

was forced to stay in to stop the Spags Defense from disrupting Jackson

I think by the time spags gets done, Purdy won’t know what hit him. I’ve seen veteran qbs wilt under the pressure he creates.

So do you consider the Chiefs 2018 to date a dynasty?

I would think six straight AFC Championship game appearances, won 4 and lost 2 in OT
won 2 out of three Super Bowls played in to date….

Personally, I consider them I dynasty if they win this Super Bowl. Every dynasty in NFL history had at least 3 SB wins in a short period of time.

While that is true, 3 to me just seems like the magic number. We win on Sunday, I will happily call us a dynasty. Just pumping the brakes a tiny bit 😉

Ha, agree

but the Chiefs window is wide open to contimue to punish the NFL for a number of years yet

If we win this year with the rolling changes we have had to adjust too

we stole a title that was not really ours

NovaChiefs

I agree with this
3 SB titles in 5 years, 2 of which are back-to-back. That seems to be a baseline for a dynasty
The SF Giants won 3 in 5 years, but no one considers them a dynasty. Why? The every other year thing felt fluky and not like dominance.

I think if the Pats hadn’t set such an absurd standard, the Chiefs would already be considered a dynasty. Win this one, no question.

Yeah – through Amazon normally. Go to the ‘used’ section on Amazon and you’ll see lots of them. It’s a chain / franchise. They are all over the place.
