Germany has brought the national subsidiary of Russian oil company Rosneft under state control to ensure security of supply from a major refinery whose operations look set to be disrupted by looming EU sanctions on Russian oil.
The challenges posed by Rosneft’s role in Germany’s energy system are increasingly pressing, and Berlin wants to guarantee that it can produce more refined fuel from crude imported from non-Russian sources. Russia’s Druzhba pipeline will soon come under EU sanctions on petroleum products from Russia, due to come into effect in February 2023. A separate ban on tanker imports of Russian oil will come into force in December.
Putin likely knows that he doesn’t have a nation-friend to turn to, but that doesn’t really change the math to him. It’s still find a way to win, or skedaddle. Are there nuances to that? Certainly, but the higher the stress, the fewer of them in play. Putin’s under extreme stress right now, or he’s an idiot who can’t feel it. I think we can safely discount the latter.
that and the NIL is a one two punch that will destroy it. It will become the minors for the NFL even moreso than it already is. Professional football players straight out of high school. Its only a matter of time before NFL owners start basically buying teams by paying them through NIL deals. The draft will look more like the MLB of NHL draft where you are drafting future prospects, not year 1 starters. Its inevitable
thats where this is headed. its fucked up. NIL is just legalized bagman. Its a complete catastrophy, its alreaady being used to recruit and steal players from other programs. At least in the pros theres contractual shit that prevents it. No tampering rule in college, the coaches can promise those kids anything and the portal allows them to grab the $$$.
It’s the NCAA’s own fault, though. They grew fat and happy by exploiting as many students as they could while safeguarding their top programs for decades, maybe generations. But it couldn’t last, especially in the era of computer analysis. They rode that horse into the ground because they refused to give it any breaks at all.
Especially if what you know’s making those in control rich. That doesn’t mean that what replaced it is better, but it’s also not as entrenched. It takes change to enable change.
Said this before the game and you never want to see any Chiefs player hurt but McDuffie’s injury could turn out to be a blessing in disguise. We found out that Watson is up to the task of being a big time player.
While Nickel’s the actual default D in the league, there are still differences between the 3-4 and 4-3 bases. That’s reason enough to call each a “base D”, because of that distinction, even though, especially though, everyone mostly plays Nickel.
The youth movement’s well underway. Case in point, CEH was anything but MEH, especially on screens, and Hardman was one of the highest-graded players, according to PFF. Not that I put much stock in their opinions*, but trying to lay a bias on every player in the league’s logistically beyond them.
*As far as I’m concerned, if you introduce any opinion into a math-based analysis, the whole thing becomes an opinion. If you write about your analysis to express an opinion, that’s another matter. Seth straddles that line, because he makes clear on his judgement calls, and is a stickler for staying true to his neutrality and rules when evaluating each play.
Reminds me of Phillip saying “bad day” on Halloween night a few years back after he fumbled on our 20 with under 2 minutes and the bolts only needing a FG
before i crash
You rang?

I had a bad feeling Missouri State was gonna be a problem. I think Arkansas wins it, but down 7 late in the 3rd is a bad bad look for a top 10 program
This NCAA season is a joke
the transfer portal is bad for College football

damn the Angels were paying (promising to pay) 14 year olds millions of dollars
what a scam

Good riddance.
The way you know, makes more sense than anarchy

Stephen Colbert
@StephenAtHome
Last night’s Chiefs/Chargers game was on Amazon, so Patrick Mahomes wasn’t allowed a bathroom break.
AND it was Herbert who crapped the bed.
B/R Gridiron
@brgridiron
No other QB has had more wins in his first 25 divisional games since 1970
Patrick Mahomes is on another level 22-3
(h/t @FieldYates)
Brady can suck on that
Brady and suck – good noun/verb agreement there.

both will be
we have some damn good defensive secondary players
and a pair of keepers at Linebacker
Fenton might end up being the odd man out.
why all the negative waves…..
Bolton with 10 tackles and Gay with 11 against the bolts
Chenal made some plays in limited duty as well.
trying to figure out why we call it a 4-3
since our base seems to be a Nickel 4-2-5
I think we played a lot of 4-3-4 Thursday
We might be doing that against Indy in eight days.
maybe that was why it was so close
I did suggest we play a double on Mike Williams
Spags achilles heel – he does not double receivers.
well Williams had a great night
and Williams had a night — but we won!
That one hand catch was incredible.
what a pro
Cause the Watson’s went off

Chenal had 22 snaps this week and only 10 against the cards. He almost got a sack Thursday night on a blitz but just missed Herbert

Herbert throwing a pick six to Jaylen Watson – Phillip Rivers approves this message.
Matt Ryan will have that same expression – one week from Sunday.
thanks I keep thinking that Carson Wentz is the Indy QB
Reminds me of Phillip saying “bad day” on Halloween night a few years back after he fumbled on our 20 with under 2 minutes and the bolts only needing a FG
Was that when he was saying “worse night ever”?
Worst day ever
Thank you.
he is so used to passing out candy to trick or treaters

Hey guys. It’s been a long tiring week. But, better late than never. I have this week’s Chiefs’ poem out now on the fanpages. It’s a song parody to the tune of Bon Jovi, “Blaze of Glory“. I present – “Game for Glory” – https://arrowheadguys.com/chiefs-song-parody-game-for-glory-to-bon-jovis-blaze-of-glory-2022-nfl-week-2-kc-27-vs-lac-24/
Please read, rate, comment on the link, and share. And as always, GO CHIEFS!
