20 repliesI would’ve swore that was a fan’s sign last year but so far I haven’t been able to locate it. Am I crazy? Probably… but I feel strongly that I’m not making this up. Regardless, that mantra kinda stuck in my head this off season and apparently I’m not the only one. After Pat got the all important Win in Feburary he celebrated with long term girl friend Brittany Matthews on the field. It felt storybook.

She said yes! Of course she said yes. These two love birds have been sweethearts since basically forever. Secondly, they both seem super down to earth and grounded. Not to mention My wife and I met her before a game and she was super sweet. (Humble Brag inserted) And lastly, have you seen the size of that ring?!?! Good Lort Pat. Way to go buddy. It needs two bands to hold the weight of that thing up.
After the shock of that literal rock on her finger wore off I kinda wondered how much it cost. I mean… I’m probably not alone on that. Obviously he can afford it and ultimately the cost means nothing as long as she said yes but still inquisitive minds and all… So I did a quick google search and found this quote by Kathryn Money of Brilliant Earth’s SVP of Merchandising and Retail Expansion when she spoke with Life & Style. I don’t know what she knows or who she is but her last name is Money… she knows more than me.

Good for them. Trolls on the internet like to shit on Brittany, but you can tell they really love each other and are happy. That’s all that counts.

I’m happy for them too. They seem good together. I can tell she truly loves him and that might be hard to find going forward. I like that Patrick isn’t swinging his dick around town (or the world) because he could be livin’ the dream right now.
