I miss Godfathers, and Leavenworth used to have a very good knockoff of that, family owned. Unfortunately, that closed, but fortunately, it was replaced by a very good pho place, also family owned. Used to grab lunch with the eldest there, back in the day. Good times.
Godfathers Taco is my absolute FAVORITE of all the national chains. Godfathers is still around. They are in gas stations now. Not the same.

Speaking of gas stations, going ‘way back, a gas station in Fosston MN used to make their own pizzas, and they were good enough that popular demand caused them to open an attached joint. Of course, by the time we moved back up here, it had closed, but possibly the best crust I’ve ever encountered.
I also miss Minskies(sp), but they weren’t spectacular, just better than chains.

When they discontinued the beefy Frito burrito I was going to buy a dozen and freeze them but the Taco Bell closest to me was closed due to a Covid outbreak.

I actually witnessed Brock Lesnar’s first official WWE main roster match. It was Backlash 2002 which was also the last US PPV to use the WWF logo. That was also the first WWE event at Kemper since Over the Edge 99.
