happy Friday AG
planning on attending the Lee’s Summit Fair and drinking some damn beer
why do I not feel old
yesterday
dammit
I am down a rabbit hole
OK, I’ve watched enough of these to become numb to ridiculous clickbait claims, but this one really is an incredible result. Even if you don’t like this sort of thing, jump ahead to the before and after presentation at the end. The guy killed it.
can you buy a copy of the current OS of microsoft or not?
windows 10
version 22H2 – OS 19045.2965
I ask because I should go talk to the geek squad but I know this is a better Geek squad
prob best to buy a new machine honestly, unless the current is under warranty
I am mad my old shit doesn’t work
though it works fine on old shit
damn I need a 32 bit to 16 bit peice of whatever
Whatβs wrong with your machine?
I want to play my old wargames 15 bit not like msdos crap
it worked till windows 10
ah, that i’ve no idea
So you are saying it worked on that computer, but stopped after upgrading to win 10?
not sure
the old one blew up ot the upgrade happened without consent from microsoft
I just need a translation or something which I don’t have
Yes you can but a copy of windows.
for $400
He just asked of you could buy it. Not whether it was worth it π
I was wondering if the 16 bit to 32 bit CPU translator was part of the full version
I have more than 400 dollars in cd games that I like to play
i know there are simulators, no idea if you can off cd, doubt it
Look into emulator programs, which are specifically designed to allow old games to run on a new OS. There are likely some free ones out there, as well as retail versions.
If you need help with that, bring it up in the email you owe me, and I’ll see what I can do.
Ahhh, Iβm following you now. You can play older games on windows, but it takes jumping through some unique hoops
microsoft is tracking all my thoughts
nothing is free
then as usaual refresh this and my free suduko sight and I can see all the comments again
oops clicked on ad and it took me there and blew away half this thread and sent me a new ad for a search I did on the battle of Granicus
which I did enjoy last night
Undoubtedly, because as a certain someone said, ‘the thing about Alex is, he can win ya battles’. Or something like that. Or something like that.
And given your enjoyment, I have to ask if you’d be interested in partnering with me to revive War Time Wednesdays? There’s likely a curmudgeon or two left around here that’s interested in a military history forum, and I know Nas would at least enjoy reading new ones. The series was a lot of fun, until C&S buggered off into the brown, the…jerk, that’s all the consideration he deserves. Working harder to describe such, with whatever expletives, gives them too much credit.
I would love that
timing is always important
like the Prussians at Waterloo
NFL football is all based on out maneuvering the enemy
the wing T
Wishbone
double TE
whatever warren moon did with those midget WR’s in Houston
Email me, and we’ll talk. One thing, though: while I can write to add to an article, I can’t be the primary writer. Aside from the risk of going BRaG-tastic on a piece, there are too many things that could get in the way.
Great, I’ve talked myself into possibly participating with AG on a regular, if limited, basis. What’s next, getting into self-ham? *shudder*
Pomp knows me and send me an email
Iam working like a damn dog
looking forward to whatever happens
i ain’t volunteer for shit

“A beginning is a very delicate thing…”
No sweat, we can figure a way. Keep in mind that once the labor’s divided, I’ll hold up my end, though I think that goes without saying. As for my email, drop me a line, my full username at Yahoo.
Military history’s my field, to the point that for Father’s Day and maybe Bday or Xmas, the Eldest teamed with Mom and got me two volumes of The Photographic History of the Civil War. He’s also a fan of the field in his own way, and helped me with getting the banner done. Call me, maybe.
I would imagine in a week of emails we can come up with something
I like pictures not something that I can do
The old format was; we decide, you write, and I bring the links, videos, and other details. Maybe even some commentary of my own, but that’s in the future.
The main thing is that we get a couple on the spike before we get rolling, so we aren’t stressed by deadlines. If we ain’t enjoying it, it’ll wither, after all.
I still have episodes 2 & 3 of the Nelson series I promised you. I can polish them up. Then you can rewrite them because you don’t like my writing style.
this is scary
My searches are showing up right under Tony’s tweet thinjy

Donβt want him banged up by week two ..
just stop already
Now you must face the power of fear
The dead fall by thousands, never a tear from the orbit
Not to be confused with the similarly-named but vastly inferior band known for “Eye of the Tiger”, this Survivor (from Shreveport, LA) would lay the foundations of American heavy metal on this, their sole album, with a vocalist often compared to Rob Halford and a musical edge that sounds like UFO and Thin Lizzy had a love child.
you never cease to amaze
Was just going to say the same , the musical knowledge is just incredible..
