FWIW, I have another Buffet scheduled for tomorrow, hope it’s enjoyed. Also, I don’t have much respect for Zahi Hawas. He abandoned science long ago, in favor of a particular narrative, not to mention that he seems to believe that he’s the only one who knows everything about Egyptian archeology, and thus can declare legitimate hypotheses invalid when he disagrees with them.

If Hill had stayed with the Chiefs for his career, he and Kelce could have been the best WR/TE duo in NFL history.

They did, but not in the way most seem to think. It’s not that they competed for reps, exactly, it’s that the entire offense ended up running through them, which made us predictable. Remember how the NFL had “cracked the code” to keeping us in check last season?
As a cross-check, without Hill’s need for reps hindering him, Mahomes has bounced back stronger.

Most people have Kelce as the best tight end ever over Gonzalez. I am now one of those people but wonder how much different we might feel had Tony G stayed with KC for his entire career. Numbers would still be similar – probably less for Tony but sentiment behind him would be higher.
I was looking at the numbers and Kelce is going to top Tony in about 3 less seasons.
More than three. Kelce is not showing any signs of slowing down but it will be inevitable. He needs three more prime seasons to be in the neighborhood of Tony’s numbers.
I mean in terms of Chiefs numbers. Kelce should pass him middle of next season.

This is a very good listen. A lot of good stats and thoughts. Mitch about drove off of the road on the way home when he was driving home @ 5:15 am after their flight in from LA. Some national talking head was calling Shannon Sharpe the greatest TE. Funny as hell.
