Like it or not, in both directions. Since I became the editor* here, I committed, and this is the result. It’s as if the nuclear apocalypse(tm) hit, and all that would be left would be termites, Twinkies, and daily Afternight posts on a computer connected to nothing.
*Note that I didn’t say Editor, as I mainly do that as self-parody, and occasionally, when I’m finally forced to. It’s the paperboy in me, quite literally.

Helpful? Not exactly, though it proved to myself that I could vigorously defend my POV, and yet bow out without disgrace, because the psych stuff was building up. Knowing it’s OK to disengage is as important as knowing when it’s time to disengage.

Well, the PFF nonsense got me more worked up than I expected, but here’s the funny thing, it’s not them dissing Mahomes that has me fired up. No, I was just putting a full blast at them for their dishonesty, pretending that their opinions are statistically valid. That sort of shit offends me, as anyone who remembers me ranting and raving about another opinion system, QBR, will realize. Only a two-tweet chain, this time (I’ve said a thing or two previously), and I hope I managed to pack enough contempt in that 450 words, or so.
Protip: If you don’t get to see how their math works, it’s not statistically valid. It’s just another boondoggle. Those who claim otherwise have things to hide, few if any of them good.

How many teams are still undefeated by next Tuesday?
My best guess is four. One is inevitable, but it’s hard to pick against any of the remaining teams, but given the NFL, it’s likely that at least one more team will fall. Others, maybe, but it’s hard to see that happening.
I really don’t see how the Buccaneers win except if Rodgers decides to throw pick sixes

You make a good case, but that essentially makes it an over/under set at 2.5, because narrowing the field changes the ratios.
And while there’s very little wrong with that (only 1 is a glaring problem for us), I favor the under, at two. Think about it, if we’ve IDed two, there are only 3 more games, and the result of one is predetermined. That pares it down to only two games, and I wouldn’t go more than 50-50 on one of them. I could probably go full PFF, and pretend at more precision than that, but really, I think the odds are slimmer than that, thus me taking the under. Now, if there were a compound bet available, that if there is only one added in, I might could be interested. Probably wouldn’t structure well, like trifectas, and such.

I know I’m in the small minority, but I didn’t like Dances With Smurfs, either, and for the same reason; the Noble Savage trope. History studies have been rife with that nonsense for generations, pro & casual alike.
Y’all know how I get about history fields, and I say that trope is tripe. The “savages” of the past were humans, with human virtues, but also human failings. It wasn’t peaceful all the way, there were wars and feuds, jealousy, murder, and so on. Tribes and nations even looked down upon some others – and that’s OK, because that’s all normal human behavior. What is not normal behavior is people who are complete paragons, who reaped the benefits of that to an idyllic existence. I’m not trying to convince anyone to hate either movie, I’m an outlier, this is just my own reasoning, and a warning about actual history takes that sell themselves that way.

It should be. Free Live at the Isle of Wight is absolute fire, capturing them at their prime. While it’s not Free at the Sunderland Locarno (the greatest live recording ever produced), it’s absolutely incredible, even if the sound is a bit muddy in places.
