Friday Night O/T: Frank Clark Is Here To Dial It To 11

Arrowhead Guys check in with the $100 Million Motivator; NFL Network Predicts the Broncos to go 2-14, Brandon Perna reacts.

Its Friday night Arrowhead Guys, and that means the weekend! That means I can’t feel my face when I’m with you! No, I may have done that wrong. Regardless, its time to ratchet it up a notch. I’m about to go to a top secret location for a film shoot that I think is going to be out of this world. Then maybe some trivia at Brewbakers. Heck, we came in 3rd last week with half our team and won seventeen whole dollars each! Speaking of ratcheting it up a notch, it looks like Frank Clark is all about that action boss:

Go get you some Frank!

Now lets kick it over to Brandon Perna of Thatsgoodsports to get his…oh…oh my. His reaction to NFL Network predicting the Broncos will go 2-14?

Heck, while I’m not exactly a believer, I wouldn’t come by to troll, and might even be add a bit to the discussion. As long as you stay out of the Psalms and the Song of Songs, I’m quite conversant with the Bible. The upside/downside is that I’m also conversant with history and archeology and not particularly given to writing much off as “God’s miracles”.

Case in point, I do not believe that the Earth has ever stopped rotating so that the Israelites could win a battle, and on top of that I don’t think it’s particularly loving or even moral to order the slaughter of every last man, woman and child in the aftermath of a victory (Saul’s sin in not doing so). So with those things in mind, I wouldn’t be inclined to trouble the place.

Yeah, exactly. It’s truly weird to think that our 10th president (Lincoln was 16th) has living grandchildren.

IIRC, he had a daughter when he was in his 70s….and then she fathered a couple in the 1920s (when she was older).

Relations are screwy in the US, and slavery makes it more so. I recall a Black guy being mentioned recently somewhere named Custis, and can’t help but wonder if he’s descended from the family of Robert E. Lee’s wife’s (Mary Custis) family – and she was related to George Washington.

That, or that I’ve avoided spending half of today ranting about tho the actual Bad Guys are WRT the Kraft case, and what’s likely the most effective way to minimize sex-slave trafficking in the US.

I will give out a hint on the latter point: Using the tactics of the “war on (some) drugs” will most likely have the same amount of success in ridding the nation of sex slaves as it has with eradicating pot smoking. Or in ridding the US of Demon Rum, in its previous incarnation.

I could be wrong, but I doubt you’ll get a call. In my experience police aren’t all that interested in investigating petty crime*, unless the victim’s pretty well off. A fender bender without serious injury, she’ll be lucky if they even get back to her.

*Except for small-time pot dealers and people with warrants, who rate SWAT-style raids at 0300. Because a gang of people using explosives and assaulting a home and carrying “hot” weapons and who are determined to create the maximum amount of confusion is obviously in the interest of safety. Things like shooting little girls in the head and mutilating baby faces with said explosive are only “tragic accidents”, for which the police can’t be blamed, after all.
