The Chiefs are off to a bit of a slow start, at least by our standards. The Bears are off to a slow start even by their standards. On top of that they’ve experienced tons of drama this week as their defensive coordinator resigned and might be in legal trouble. If the Chiefs don’t win here that’d be extremely concerning.

some of the sports media was crowning/crowing Dallas as the best defense in the NFL after thumping the Giants (shutout) and the Jets (10 points). Really? Are we that dumb to think killing those two teams in the first and second games of this season was any sort of test of a defense? That Dallas defense gave up 28 points to the 0-2 Cards. World-class defense, isn’t it?
They left the game in my market. Showing AZ vs DAL right now. One of the cardinals defenders did a really heads up but kind of fake injury to get a moment to make a substitution. Prescott picked off the following play. And gonna be AZ upset now.

These are important snaps for Gabbert and our receivers. They need these kinds of game opportunities to find some rhythm together in case we actually need Gabbert at some point later in the season to bail us out or keep us in a game should Mahomes be out for any reason.

The talk on X is that the illegal formation by Taylor on that potential TD was a bad call; he was just as close to the LOS as the LT on that play; I think our TV angle was a little deceptive; some reputable commentators felt it was a horrible call. Might be worth seeing some more in-depth looks at that play to see just how accurate it was. At this point, none of us are surprised that he gets called for it. I didn’t think he was nearly as far back on that play as when he was getting called for it against the Jags or when we wasn’t getting called for it against the Lions.
he needs to ask the refs at the start of the game, where am i allowed to line up? the refs will probably give him more slack if he talks to them pregame
It did not look like he was particularly far back. I’ve seen plenty of other tackles at least as far back all season with no calls.

i didnt get tyhe switch because i had to watch on Sunday Ticket. One of the rare sundays that the chiefs arent on local
