Random quote about the game…………Astrologer Lauren Ash looks predicted that the game would bring a lot of turmoil to the field, stating that the “Scorpio Moon opposes Uranus,” on Feb. 12
As a Scorpio Moon should
might be the same one I used in a Huddle, or have things shifted enough?
Hmmm. We might be repeating things…
when the talking eagles say…
The chiefs must be the Scorpio Moon and the eagles must be the other
I read that, and let me all 3 astrological tarot other alternate reality people she talked to all said Chiefs would win …
… followed by a standard disclaimer that none of it has any basis in scientific facts and is not meant to be “a guide of action” …
… IOW: bet the ranch on it, but only if you can afford to lose the ranch 🤪🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏉🏉🏉🏉🏉😁
NFL Network is showing SB LIV right now
a running joke at my expense of my own making, a musical exchange and a civil semi-political discussion in one OT…..multiple things can happen concurrently, as they are wont to do
damn, and I missed BOTH of ’em
Before the championship game everyone was talking up San Fran as the best defense in the league and now they’re talking up Philly as the best defense in the league. They sound really tough. Can we beat the leagues best defense?
If SanFran, was then yes, cause they did
It seems like everyone is the best defense in the league until they play us.
Remember back when the Jaguars were the best in the league and they said Reek was a gadget punt returner and then the Chiefs broke them for ever. Good times
Whoomp There It Is
Yeah except Tampa in the sb…granted that game goes a lot differently had our guys been able to catch the ball
If only 2 of the at least 10 drops are caught its a 23-31 game…
Cincinnati had the better defense than us they said. I’m getting tired of all this talk.
CIN absolutely DOES have a good defense, that team be tough
We have, several times this year, torched the best D in the league
I really haven’t seen anything to believe that Philly has the best defense in the league.
They’re not good against the run.
Their D backs are opportunistic but not elite.
They have at least one really good MLB. Edwards I belive is his name
Their dline is good but they don’t have anybody on the same level as Chris Jones. They rush 5 a lot. They stunt a lot on the line.
Really it comes down to Wiley and Orlando. Can they handle sweat and reddick? This game is worth 10s of millions of dollars for Orlando. It’s the difference between him getting 80 million guaranteed versus 30 million guaranteed.
30 – 80 M
I wanna be an offensive lineman when I grow up
the question, river, is not CAN the Chiefs beat whatever defense, because of course they CAN … shit, they beat any team anywhere anytime
no, the question is WILL they?
fingers crossed 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞
Miss read the TV guide last night. Thought it said “State of the Onion” …. thought Pomp was gonna be on TV
The onion had rotted out from the inside.
Its how he found out that was disturbing 🤣
Disturbed I tell you!!
Now I am rewinding some great covers in my head
fuck you very much 😀
*check out my onlyfans
it would make my eyes water.
that’s only the start…
Now I wish I had, but will… WILL use MikeHonchosButtCheeks for any site username
Man, no Chiefs excitment here
Maybe ap has some Chiefs fans
WOOO HOOO, calm your tits, it’s middle of the work week, false excitement is worse than none
Is there a reason to be excited? It’s FEBRUARY, the Chiefs don’t play in February.
haven’t you heard?
the Chiefs are going to the Super Bowl
(also, heard a rumour about Mike Vrabel retiring from the Chiefs … )
good to see you
It is a long listen but worth it
very cool, thanks
Chiefs defensive end Frank Clark was asked who’s the biggest trash-talker on the team. His answer may surprise you.
Clark told reporters that punter Tommy Townsend talks the most trash on the Chiefs.
“The most trash? Tommy Townsend,” Clark said.
“My punter Tommy Townsend talk the most trash, I swear to y’all. If he say he don’t, I don’t want to call him a lying man, but Tommy Townsend talk trash, y’all.”
Hopefully, another player on the Chiefs can confirm that Townsend talks trash at an elite level.
Didn’t the raiders have a punter a few years back that was pretty full of himself?
Yea I cant remember his name but he was entertainingly cocky
the cowboy dance, Travis mocked him once
I imagine being a punter for the Raiders was probably one of the glory positions for them!
the only time they make positive yards.
why do you hate Coulcitt?
actually, I just hate the raiders. sorry if that bothers you!
Other teams not named the Chiefs fall into the same boat too!

THE JOYS OF DRANKING
Michael Irvin has been removed from Super Bowl coverage for the remainder of the week after a woman in Arizona complained about his conduct.
NFL Network executives informed him on Monday that he needed to change hotels. He says he was asked what he did the night before, and he told his bosses he came back to the hotel and went to his room. He was then informed that there is video of him speaking with a woman before that.
“And then they showed on camera I did talk to somebody. I talked to this girl for about a minute,” Irvin said. “They didn’t show [me the video]. They told me [that I was on video talking to her]. I don’t know what she looks like or anything. But that’s why they moved me. Because the girl said I said something to her in that minute we talked.”
Irvin said he had just gotten back from having drinks with former Cowboys safety Michael Brooks. He admitted that he is unsure of what was said during the brief conversation because he had been drinking.
Irvin better hope he doesn’t get FIRED and lose MILLIONS of dollars over — getting DRUNK!! THE JOYS OF DRANKING
There’s also a case of he said, she said, and she always wins. the price of being a celebrity.
Like Watson, right?
“I bid you STAND, CHAMPS OF THE WEST!!!”
Yep, I posted this same thing on Morning Thread
flexing Thu game$ is a wor$e idea than all $eason Thu game$
A logistical and practice schedule nightmare
yes & tough on coaches & team, but NFL is a biz. The all-mighty dollar
as peeps know, I don’t get into politics.
I do get into NUMBERS. USA just past $31 trillion in DEBT. The gap between The Have’s & Have Not’s will only increase & increase = THE PURGE, potentially soon.
LINK to real time USA debt:
the interstate hwy system was built when corps and the wealthy paid an effective 35% tax rate.
yes & now most tax 0%
while Citizens United was ostensibly about small donors having a voice, it effectively legalized corp bribery and dark $ donations
It’s what happens when you let the wolves guard the hen house.
Great song to go with a great movie.
they took it over and now own the entire chicken farm, plus all the grocery stores
sad but true …
get the$$$$$ outta the Swamp you can drain it … no $$$ no lobbyi$ts, etc
Finance 101 – there aren’t that many wealthy people to pay for all the poor people, regardless of what the politicians say. it sounds good, but the only way to raise more money is the middle class, since they pay most of the taxes.
worked in the past.
the # of million/billioaires has grown by orders of magnitude since Reagan. The % is still small, but rich been getting richer is not in question
Uh, the spending is in the trillions. how many trillionaires are running around? like I said, it sounds good, but its a drop the bucket. the real bucket is the middle class, cause that’s where all the money is. Also, the billionaires are the ones that employ the others. If you cut too deep, they aren’t going to lose their money, so they start laying people off. you see that happening now in the tech world.
Billionaires have doubled have almost tripled last 20 yrs. They pay migrant workers to cut the lawn.
you know voodoo economics
not that i disagree, the middle will always be the deepest aquifer to tap, but the top should be dipped into as well
no doubt, but saying they are the answer isn’t. wasting all our money is what drives me nuts, and saying we’ll just take it from the rich people.. no, that’s not and excuse for spending money on some of the pork they do.
we are not disagreeing at this point, shall we go on?
Not really – I’m an old fuck and about ready to go to bed!
fair enough, GO CHIEFS!
G’night Pomp! have a good one.
That wasn’t the question. the question was could they fund the government. the answer is no. if you cut the spending you have a chance, but you can’t keep spending like crazy and think the ultra rich can fund it. there aren’t enough.
not “fund the gov’t”, add billions to the funding, absofuckingloutly.
*trickle down is a myth
taxing the rich to cover everything is a myth. you can take all their money and not even come close to balancing the budget. Actually I’m wrong – when you get down to taking all the money from someone making 60,000 a year, you might have a chance. forget the rhetoric – just do some math. don’t let the politicians think for you.
no one’s saying it will cover everything…why should a nurse/teacher/grocery clerk pay 15% when wealthy pay 0-5%.
They(many) just use the $ to make more $, not real growth
Actually, I’m all for a straight tax – like a sales tax. That means every dime a rich person spends is taxed the same as anyone. illlegal immigrants – same. tourists – same. the only problem is that it would wipe out a whole industry of accountants and tax lawyers, so it would never pass. to me, that’s the fairest way of taxing people.
a sales tax on stocks?
you may be onto something.
on good only would still be inequitable when 1 spends 80-90% on food, gas etc and another spends 20?
stocks maybe not because everyone’s 401k is invested in it, but if a rich guy buys a mansion, a yacht, or a million dollar car, a percentage straight up goes to the government. if you have that money, you have to spend it. just charge everyone equally for it. I would exempt the essentials, like most states do with their sales tax.
FL only exempts parer goods at the grocery store. Yachts (Raymond Luxury aside) and private jets are not taxed at the same rate as a used car…again, not a solution, just a balance (the luxury yacht maint industry is not an economic driver)
There are enough Ultra Wealthy that, if taxed according to ability to pay, would make a huge dent in paying for all those poor people. End the problem? No, but make a real difference.
$20-30K can settle school lunch debt (which is fucked up in the 1st place) for a small to medium district…seen a few doing so anonymously
The Eiffel Tower and the Taj Mahal are mine to see on clear days
You thought that I would need a crystal ball to see right through the haze
But they couldn’t stop Jack, or the waters lapping
And they couldn’t prevent Jack from feeling happy
They are closing because they had too many people want to watch the game there? Wow.
saw that, “It’s Bob, gotta let him in” and so on. Giving up big $ to avoid a cluster fuck.
That’s what they said, but I think its because the way Philly fans are, they figured when the Chiefs won they’d have the bar torn down.
Well, yeah, there is that
