don’t touch my ass Felix
I put zewro stock in mock drafts (mainly because they simply aren’t going to happen with “those players” at “those spots” going to “those teams”) but if “this one” happened, I’d be ok with it
Breaking down Draft Wireโs 7-round Chiefs mock draft

Just compare the draft simulators. There is nothing even remotely close to a consensus after the top 10
and thus my aversion to most mocks … it’s all speculation, most of it wrong
Ceh was supposed to be like the 5th rb taken. They were wrong on that one

Iowa’s Caitlin Clark was named Naismith National Player of the Year on Wednesday, beating out 2022 winner Aliyah Boston and fellow finalists Maddy Siegrist (Villanova) and Elizabeth Kitley (Virginia Tech).
Clark won the award two days before her Hawkeyes are slated to play Boston’s South Carolina Gamecocks in the Final Four.
Those two will be a rivalry for years. Iโm calling Magic/Bird proportions
a high bar
Hot taeks shouldnโt have a low one
Whoโd a thunk it would be KU women coming home with hardware?!?
for weird bodies
with three heads
the podium is part of it?
it is the end times
This (still) isnโt a hockey site!
don’t tell Larch
hmmmmmmmmmm … wonder if there any TE’s in the mid-late rounds who could be converted to WR … hmmmmm?
Think of this. And donโt tell Howie Roseman.
A 5-TE set. Run QB sneaks all the time. 3 yards and a cloud of dust. Itโs like history repeating itself.
no can do: big Red has prohibited QB sneaks for the foreseeable future
however, I can see 4 TE sets, a lot of “chip block” (block and release) and flooding the middle every which way … Mahomes’ll find someone, somewhere
Nine on the Line, Baby!
Wildcat
Fortson on a jet sweep, there ya go
But wait, itโs a flea flicker!
no one would ever suspect
Dirk Gently is completely underrated. Yet he is so timeless. Even Billie Eilish understands the long dark teatime of the soul

hearing the pre air show stuff.
no idea how big it’s supposed to be this year.
I am near the intersection of the various flight paths to the display area, can see, hear a lot
I want one!
The current price tag for a single F-22 Raptor is approximately $143 million. However, additional costs are associated with operating and sustaining the aircraft, which can add up.
ok, maybe I don’t …
No lie; when I was a kid I wanted to be an F-16 pilot. Turns out they don’t like fighter pilots to have less than perfect vision (for understandable reasons).
Why I withdrew my USAFA application. Now they are lenient. Of course.
baseball players at all levels were drafted for pilots in WWII.
Visual acuity, hand-eye coordination etc.
was just gonna say … Ted Williams, had maybe the “best eyes” ever (so it’s been said) and of course incredibly quick reactions
Compare aircraft fatalities in WWII to total. By nation. Itโs like the US just threw birds into the grist mill.
little to no training at times
it also became, like all extended wars, one of attrition…sad really
speaking of which: FUCK PUTIN!
thank you, I feel so much better now
sideways….
thank you
may he have another?
With sandpaper covering that bat
Tuskegee Airmen … the Airmen’s success in escorting bombers during World War II โ having one of the lowest loss records of all the escort fighter groups, and being in constant demand for their services by the allied bomber units.- is a record unmatched by any other fighter group
My Vision was perfect
I was no fighter pilot for other reasons
was it because of that opium you were smoking?
My father walked in on me once and had this sad look on his face as he said,
โSon, if you keep doing that, youโre going to go blind.โ
I replied, โDad, Iโm over here.โ
Henny Youngman just called, he’d like his one-liners back
see whatever they are showing off, sometimes closeish, lowish
used to LOVE seeing the Blue Angels at Richards-Gebaur AFB just south of KC way way way back in the day
there is a huge gvmr complex there now
1000’s employed
lived on Nellis AF base in las vegas for 6 months. Often times the Navy’s Blue Angels and the Air Force’s Thunderbirds would both put on a show at the base flying tree top level. Quite thrilling
There really is nothing like nap of the earth. Movies donโt come close
I take that back. Some amusement parks are getting close. Like the Avatar one at Disney World
Good night gentlemen , and remember..
Eagle fly with the dove
So is Andy the GOAT of coaches?
Two different teams to the SB
Two different teams to 4 consecutive Conference Championships
Two different teams to 100+ wins
All during the FA era.
Belichick? Many SBs, but one team, and only with one QB. He did have to navigate FA, too
Lombardi? With no FA, once he had the best team, all he had to do was win before they got too old
Landry? Similar to Lombardi
Andy has done it with more moving pieces than anyone.
I would say yes
but he did have two franchises that wanted to win and spent the money to make that happen
You might have inspired me to do one of my famous lists – Shula, Halas, and Bill Walsh are names that jump to mind that should have been mentioned. Good arguments for Andy – add that McNabb was a good, but not great quarterback. Disagree about Landry – his teams spanned the sixties, seventies, and eighties – before, during, and after Staubach.
True, but he never made the SB after 1979. So while he coached during the early FA period, he wasn’t as successful as he had been before it.
Walsh is the only one you mentioned that I’d consider. Halas was important, but mostly because he meant so much to the Bears and NFL history.
Point remains valid. Thereโs no proof Andy could have thrived in the pre-FA period.
No, but in Landry’s case we have proof he couldn’t post-FA
Personally I have Joe Gibbs at #1. Winning 3 Super Bowls with 3 different mediocre QBs is an amazing achievement.
Shhh โฆ. Doug Williams is โฆ โฆ better than Trent Dilfer
I love Doug Williams. Any QB who beats the shit out of the Broncos in the Super Bowl is a-ok in my book.
Does that include Russell Wilson, even though he now plays for the Donkeys?
Inside job
the friend of my enemy?
The enemy of my enemy
is not necessarily my friend
*i don’t know that guy
That’s fair. I never think of GIbbs because I so hated those teams
yanno, it’s just like my Mama always said …
Yep, I remember.
top 10 Rock song ๐
Oh shit.
Mama told ME not to come
open up a window
let some air into this place
tomorrow the MLB kicks off
so the NFL will be coming soon
Not. Soon. Enough.
The Empire strikes… no that’s a hit! And the death star is gone!
Mahomes signed a dumb ass deal…….
well if you are a dumbass QB or a player agent
screw you, Josh Allen signed a similar deal
We know the results but remember the gamble that Veach took by offering a ten year deal – totally unheard of in the NFL. Seems like both the Chiefs and Mahomes came out ahead in this deal.
I agree
the NFL contract structure is not the same as the MLB
I wonder why they chose a 69 million per year guarantee on each restructure
I had a dream
the Chiefs played a Doubleheader
beat Raiders 23-0
beat Broncos 46-0
Our Defense is gonna dominate this year!!!!!
Defense is gonna ball this year.. really looking forward to camp , letโs get this going.
no more gummies for me ๐
Was that on a Thursday?
a scheduling SNAFU
I never could get the hang of Tuesโฆ. Thursdays
Arthur Dent?
Arthur Phillip Dent?
You seem like a hoopty frood who really knows where your towel is at
..i’m so hip, i can’t see over my pelvis…
boom
Trade off proposal for Roger – the players will accept playing two Thursdays IF you expand the rosters to 60 and allow everyone to be active, eliminate OT games except for the playoffs, pay players 50% of the money that is not guaranteed in a contract should they be cut, and make Patrick Mahomes – King of the NFL.
haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahahaha
that’s funny …
Mahomes is ALREADY King of the NFL
Der Roger: you are SO full of shit your eyes are brown … seriously, you’re more full of shit than a small barn with 1,000 horses inside
Would have respected Roger more had he simply said, “We are doing it cause they got shit tons of money”
at least it would have been truthful
the worst part is that NOW he’s gone and tarnished his sterling reputation as a straight shooter
/sarcasm
that’s our Rog!
