The Chargers, let me run it again: They have Herbert (Mahomes), Harbaugh (Reid), McDaniels (Reid+EB), and…the inevitability of Herbert’s talents?
Everyone he mentioned has an equivalent in KC who’s as good or better, and they’re why LAC is going to win the AFCW? Look, the guy might be right, but his “logic” is badly flawed. You don’t cite three guys for one team to win and ignore the existence on your 3rd place team. To make that fly you need reasons that LAC has and KC doesn’t. You don’t like Rice? Fine, who’s LAC got who’s inarguably as good or better. A better RB than Walker? Who? An elite OL?
He could make an actual case by applying logic, but that takes real work, doesn’t it Danny. Bah, he makes me think that on this one he’s reading a script someone else wrote, because the alternative is telling folks with an actual clue he’s stupid.
Josh Simmons is a concern, but I think the interior’s superior and RT’s likely settled. Johnson and Walker will be good, maybe Smith. Kelce’s no longer young, but he was still a top-ten TE, arguably top 5. (That’s not a liability, Parkins) Jones is getting up there, but he looked bad last year because he had little help outside Karlaftis. FAU’s been looking good, Woods looks solid at minimum, and RMT could be pretty good – considered against veteran DEs, not rookies.
Toub hasn’t looked great, last couple years, but he’s had some very good years here, and his 3 full-timers are very good. Hard to pick out an elite DB, but IMO Spags has done more with less at times. We’re not an elite team right now, but that’s because nobody is. As units go you have to prove yourself every season. There’s plenty of reason for optimism.
Not too shabby. Been busy since Fri, younger son drove up here (near Hibbing) from Sioux Falls after work then to help me get my car back, then up and running after 8 years. Cost less than I feared, around $500 and she runs as well as when parked, no significant rust, either. Lichen al over the canvas landau, but elbow grease, car wash run, and more elbow grease got almost all that off.
Great seeing him again, of course. His older bro lives up here, so lil’ bro’s visits are a bit more special. Paperwork’s next, ugh, but the big task’s done.
I am working on pieces called Chiefs Rooms. About our position groups. I completed QBs and Running Backs.

My life faced quite the stall and downfall and I haven’t been around and I apologize to everyone for not being here. You are really good at what you do Brag and I’m glad you’re still here.

Likely so, but he was a dominant athlete in his day. Pity about his gold medals getting revoked, a pretty racist move by the IOC, but par for the course at the time.
Watching him bend reminds me of DT58(RIP). Remember how he’d windmill his outside arm while cornering? Makes me wonder if this kid would benefit from watchijng that old tape. T’would be nice to see him pair up with Woods the way DT and Neil Smith used to roll. (Hey, Spags, maybe see if you can channel some Gunther, hey?)
