This sucks for Long, who is coming out of retirement, but for the team it’s not as big of a loss as it would have been last year. LDT is returning from sitting out due to Covid last year, and newly drafted rookie Trey Smith has been impressive in practice so far.
With Kyle long out until at least the regular season's start (I can confirm @TomPelissero report, not that he needs it), watch for Trey Smith.

This depth speaks to the effort Veach has put into building the O-line this offseason. While the new starters are getting the hype, in my opinion it’s the new depth that’s the most impressive.
