Science Saturday

Everything in the universe involves science (I before E, except after C, my ass), and I’m here to expose you to it.

There’s far, far too much for one person to understand, or even one discipline, and though we cover all the bases we can find, even that isn’t enough. That’s a feature of science, not a bug, so with that in mind, enjoy what you will here. It can’t make you dumber.

I thought I’d pop in and drop a little gift for y’all, so let’s go!

Everyone loves our good boys and girls. Unfortunately, while hating dogs isn’t acceptable, hating cats is. Rank discrimination, but what can you do, pass laws?

This was just too cool to not share, and y’all might recall that I do love me some Stirling engines.

And this is why such things really matter.

And finally, that weird and wonderful substance we call glass. We’ve been making it for millennia, but we still don’t fully understand it.

And for contrast, this is science, too. Informal, perhaps, but if what he’s done actually has never been done before, amateur is good enough. I hope y’all enjoyed this, as I just might do another one, someday.

What’s going on out there today?

I’m sorry. There were men in drag in that skit. Consider yourself reported.
