Remember that one time the Chiefs beat the Raiders and took over the AFC West?
18 repliesIt’s time to reflect. Remember that Juan-WON-one time the Kansas City Chiefs went to Las Vegas and beat the Raiders like a new dome and took over the AFC West? You don’t? No worries, let’s reflect like Lombardi Trophies. Join AG to discuss…
Hello Arrowhead Guys. It’s a Thursday, so we’re going to throw it way back to the time the Kansas City Chiefs traveled out to Oakland Las Vegas to battle the Raiders inside side of their own dome-home. Ladies and gentlemen of Chiefs Kingdom, I don’t know if you remember, but I’m referring way back the that one Sunday Night Football event on Primetime NBC! It was the game the Chiefs played against the Silver and Black with so many fans inside of the Raiders Dome that after the National Anthem was played, you could clearly here Chiefs fans calling it the Home of the Chiefs. Remember that time? Yeah, that was awesome! It was crazy, because at first the game was close and then the Chiefs went for it on fourth and goal.
Remember? The memory is a bit Gray.

Remember that SHOWTIME returned?
You have to remember this game? It was the game shorty after everyone was dumping all over Mahomes and saying things like Showtime was expired and that Patrick Mahomes was broken. Do you remember? Because it was that one time when Showtime showed up in the Raiders house and put on a five touchdown clinic like he was some kind of Jamaal Charles in QB form. You guys (and gals) have to remember, right? It was the game where Showtime and the Kansas City Chiefs went from worst to first in the same day in the AFC West. For the life of me, I can’t believe you can’t remember. Maybe if I show you some of the games highlights it’ll jog your memory?
Remember?

Do you remember?
AG, I know it’s difficult. Because what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas! With this game however, the Kansas City Chiefs left this beatdown all over that city. It was that one time in Vegas band camp, where the Chiefs stuffed a flute in the Raiders _________… Because Fuck the Raiders! Remember? You have to remember, because guess who’s back?

Remember Nick Wright owning the media like Billionaires?
Props to @NickWright for giving America & the World the diatribe that Chiefs fans wanted to unleash. Not all of the Chiefs fans on ?! Just the ones that knew, hoped & believed that Kansas City & @PatrickMahomes and the @Chiefs would bounce back just to give the world Showtime!!!

Because MotherFunkers Forgot!
There are a lot of good teams in the NFL. Parity is at an all-time high. It’s no secret that the Kansas City Chiefs have struggled this season, but it was nice to see them get their swagger back and beat the Raiders like Raiders fans beat old charges in California. With appeal and continuances a plenty, because that beat down kept coming. Remember, the Chiefs dominated that game after our rookie Tight End decided there was No(ah) Gray area in a beat down. If Noah Gray doesn’t make that touchdown, the Chiefs might have ended up in a different ball game. But he did, and now if you can remember it… The rest is red and gold history.
Conclusion.
The Kansas City Chiefs are somehow-someway back on top of the AFC West and the media is back to praising this team like movie villain’s praise false idols, but the Chiefs still have a lot of season to play! Even the Raiders will be back at Arrowhead soon for an appeal and a continuance attempting to comeback to the gridiron after the Chiefs left them for dead in the Nevada desert like a movie plotline. Nevertheless, the NFL season rages on and the Chiefs are coming home to Arrowhead this Sunday afternoon to do battle with the Dallas Cowboys in another must win contest. So before we play Cowboys and Indians, let’s remember this game that happened in Vegas… Because the Kansas City Chiefs are back and it’s SHOWTIME! Let’s roll!
Andy Reid must be proud of our vaccine record. Marcus Kemp has been working with the back-up receivers. Andy was asked by a reporter if he was afraid that the group would catch the COVID from Marcus. Andy was confident in his reply, “Those guys are not going to catch a damn thing.”
Ooh.
Do you remember when CBO would show up on a Thursday afternoons and make my whole day?? Do ya??
I remember !!!! And it was fuking awesome…!!!!!!But do you remember when Bobby Boucher showed up and won the bourbon bowl , huh do you.???

I asked @Chiefs HC Andy Reid what most impresses him about the #Cowboys.
“If you ask me to combine one thing that jumps out at you on their offense, defense and special teams, it’s their speed,’’ he said. “They play fast.’’

Chiefs announce WR Marcus Kemp was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list this morning. Lucas Niang (ribs) will miss a second straight day of practice.
That’s what happens when you catch a pass from a punter. You also catch covid. Just kidding, but that was an incredible part of the game. Here’s to a speedy recovery from them both.

“He’s been outstanding,” Chiefs OL coach Andy Heck said about C Creed Humphrey. Heck points out that Humphrey has been “operating at a veteran level.”

I forgot to add but what does JJ Birden think?
Additionally, if you’re in TLDR mode. At least watch this one:
I LOVE when old Chiefs players end up becoming Chiefs fans for life! There are quite a few! Even our old buddy (BIG) Shaun Smith is still rooting for the Chiefs.
Besides Joe Montana and the obvious ones like Neil, Derrick, Will Shields and Marcus Allen. J.J. Birden was one of my favorite Chiefs back in the day. He’s got some great stories!
