How Taylor Swift’s Lucky Number 13 Connects to Travis Kelce’s Super Bowl Appearance | People

https://people.com/how-taylor-swift-lucky-number-13-connects-to-the-2024-super-bowl-8553764

The number 13 has had a special significance in Swift’s career through the years. As she previously explained to MTV News, “I was born on the 13th. I turned 13 on Friday the 13th. My first album went gold in 13 weeks. My first No. 1 song had a 13-second intro. Every time I’ve won an award I’ve been seated in either the 13th seat, the 13th row, the 13th section or row M, which is the 13th letter. Basically whenever a 13 comes up in my life, it’s a good thing.”

Where does spags rank among all time DCs?

Going for his 5th SB.
Only coordinator (O or D) to ever win a SB with 2 different teams.
Beat the undefeated Patriots in the SB, holding the Brady and Moss offense who averaged 36.8 PPG to 10 points.

The argument I hear a lot is the great DCs go on to be head choaches so never get a chance to win more SBs as a DC.

But similar to spags, most of them don’t last as HCs and end up being DCs again and never find the same success again. Eg: Patricia.

So true – Wade Philips, Romeo Crennel immediately spring to mind, Vic Fangio probably fits as well. On the offensive side I immediately think of Norv Turner and I’m sure if I spent a few minutes thinking about it I could come up with more.

I think you should consider including Belechick because he was effectively the DC for the Patriots as well as winning the SB as DC with the Giants. Buddy was a DC forever, but I don’t remember him being DC or winning any SBs except for 85 with the Bears.
That SB when the Spags D beat that Brady, Welker, & Moss O was incredible. No one thought it could be done. In my mind it’s one of the great defensive game plans ever executed – probably only Belichick’s game plan to slow down and frustrate the K-gun Bills ranks along side it.

All 2024 head coaching jobs are now filled and Belichick is unemployed. Anyone still need a DC?

The niners are favored in this game? Who are these people making the odds? Do these yahoos even know football? Everyone thinking the Chiefs aren’t the same team, and ya know what, they’re right. They’re not a glamour team anymore, they have morphed into a mean & nasty bunch of gangsters. The Chiefs are gonna go into this game and punch the niners right in the mouth. I give the niners barely any chance at all in this game.

Bookmakers only set the initial odds, then it’s mainly determined by where the money goes… So it’s the idiot people setting the odds.

SUPER MH, Nova (SWIDT?)

the Swifthead on Dawson Smoking is hilarious … glad she’s on the team (even made it to the SB as a Rookie)

also saw where Bob Costas has declared the Chiefs to be (the new) America’s Team, which sounds about right: Grampa Andy, Mahomes maybe the most popular athlete since Michael Jordan, and the whole Kelce-Swift thing
