Good morning AG! Happy Sunday!

Actually Checked Chiefs History Today , Absolutely Nothing Of Significance Happened.

Onto The News…

Which games on Chiefs’ schedule are likely to be flexed to Sunday night? | usatoday

The Kansas City Chiefs are already set to play five games in prime time in 2022, but there is a possibility the team could play in more prime-time games due to the NFL’s flexible scheduling policy.

Last season, the NFL flexed the Chiefs vs. Broncos Week 13 game from the afternoon slate to “Sunday Night Football.” It gave the team six games in prime time for the 2022 NFL season. A move like that could happen again at a few different points during the course of the 2022 NFL season.

The NFL’s flexible scheduling policy applies to Weeks 5 through 15 and Week 17 this season. Only Sunday afternoon games are eligible to be flexed into “Sunday Night Football.” That’s significant for Kansas City because they play in a ton of late afternoon games in 2022.

It’s also important to note that networks are allowed to protect one game from flexible scheduling. CBS is rumored to have done so with the team’s Week 6 game against the Bills, meaning that Kansas City would have just four eligible games to be moved under the league’s flexible scheduling policy.

Chiefs Reassign Tyrann Mathieu’s No. 32 Jersey, Josh Gordon Also Swaps Numbers | heavy

For the past three seasons, No. 32 has represented leadership, drive, perseverance and courage in Kansas City. It has represented a fierce competitor known as the ‘Honey Badger’ and a trusted teammate by the name of Tyrann Mathieu.

KC team reporter Matt McMullen revealed the new owner on May 13, and it’s a defensive teammate who could take on a similar role this season — second-year linebacker Nick Bolton.

Chiefs on Bad Side of NFL History, Based on 2022 Schedule | heavy

We knew the Kansas City Chiefs would have one of the toughest 2022 regular-season schedules based on the 2021 records of the opponents on their schedule and the projected win totals of those teams next season. But Kansas City was put on the wrong side of NFL history when the league announced the official schedule on May 12.

So what puts the Chiefs on the wrong side of history, you ask? According to Elias Sports Bureau, Kansas City is the first team in NFL history to start the season with eight straight games against teams that had a winning record in the previous season. The combined record of the first eight teams on the defending AFC West champions’ 2022 schedule is 85-51.

Northeast Nebraska here has 69 degrees. Course, we’ve had some showers so that might be affecting things.

Two football fans are requesting in their $6 billion lawsuit against the Jets, Giants and the NFL that the two teams drop “New York” from their names because they play in East Rutherford, New Jersey

good luck with that!

Hey, if that works, I think we should all petition the league to have the Washington Commanders change their name to something less offensive, and take “Washington” out of it.

so … Chiefs ranked #1 in SI Power Rankings, we have at least 3 and likely 5 New Starters from our draft class, 5 and maybe more Primetime Games … (maybe) the most difficult schedule in the league and (maybe) the most difficult schedule ever

I don’t wanna hear ONE PERSON saying ANYTHING about “nobody respects the Chiefs”

Not poliShIts just facts, per Forbes.
.
.
On this previous Monday, the average price of gas in the U.S. stood at $4.10, according to the agency, only one cent below the all-time record of $4.11 that occurred on July 7, 2008, just before the Great Recession hit.
.
Germany, charging $8.23 per gallon. The most expensive gallon of gas included in the ranking was sold in Hong Kong at $10.72.
.
My summary: It is, What it is

The important part of this is that this is a global issue, which means it is due to global pressures, not something unique to the US (ie: politics).

gas prices are always a global issue as they are a commodity. Therefore it reacts very quickly to influences, wherever they occur. So, if Saudi decides they are going to double their output, the price doesn’t change because of supply and demand, but because of investors reactions to that news.

Exactly, but the first thing people do is blame whoever is in the White House, which is nonsense.
Not Joe’s fault
Wasn’t Dub-ya’s fault
Wasn’t anyone else’s.
This is what free markets do.
They do go up so fast, but down so slow.
