The way Pennel played in that game and in the rest of the playoffs really made me wonder how this guy was sitting on the couch when we called him late in the season. Thanks for the good work Big Mike!

HEY GUYS!

So, I was meaning all week to get a game summary poem about Super Bowl LVIII in addition to the brief celebration one I did to Kiss. I’ve done a few of these like this this year, and I just thought it was fitting. Next up I have a poem or song to do about this whole season in summary, and then I’ll start work on the book. Gonna be good and you’re going to want it. Tentative name: “Champion Chiefs”. Look for it around draft time hopefully.

Presenting my game summary poem of SB LVIII, “Back to Back” https://arrowheadguys.com/chiefs-poem-back-to-back-2023-24-nfl-playoffs-super-bowl-lviii-kc-25-vs-sf-22-ot-in-vegas/

Please read, rate, comment on the link, share. And as always… GO CHIEFS!

Seeing posts from SF fans that 49ers would’ve won except for injuries which is funny because we played without Thuney, Omenihu and Cook. Add That We Played With A One Armed LG

49ers were incredibly healthy for them. They are the chargers north as far as injuries are concerned usually. What were the odds that CMC would stay healthy for entire year? 50-1?

It’s like the Bengals last year saying that they would have won the AFCCG if Boyd hadn’t gotten injured. Meanwhile we lost Juju, Watson, and Hardman and had to put Kemp on the field during big plays just to have 3 WR. The Bengals and Forty-whiner fans are cut from the same cloth.

You know what game we would have won had most of our oline not been hurt and the remaining couple shuffled to other positions to make of a tapestry of crap? Super bowl 55. It fucking sucks we know. Go out there and win 2 of the next 3 and quit bitching about it.

In his playoff career, Patrick Mahomes has had 11 drives in the 4th Q/OT where his team was losing by 1-8 points. Here’s how those drives ended:
Punt

go-ahead TD
game-tying FG
go-ahead TD
go-ahead TD
game-tying FG
game-tying FG

Mahomes stats on those drives:
34/51 – 480 YDS – 4 TD – 0 INT – 123.0 RATING

The internet is a cesspool of ads now. But depending on your browser, you can install free adblockers that work in the background.

Firefox:
Find your “Options” menu (usually under “Tools”) and navigate to “Add-ons.” Install either Ghostery or AdBlock Plus. Restart Firefox. This should block ads on YouTube as well.

Chrome:
Go to mozilla.org and download Firefox, then repeat the steps above. Delete Chrome. Never go back to using it – your computer’s RAM will thank you.

Mobile:
Download Firefox and follow similar steps. Uninstall Chrome/your Android’s default browser. Never go back to using it.

I’d say Brave on Android but essentially yes. I know the site needs ad income but, and I’ve made this offer before, I’ll happily pay a fee to avoid them being needed.

I’ve heard good things about DuckDuckGo’s mobile browser as well, but haven’t yet taken the plunge into using it. I do, however, use it as a search engine for everything but directions and it works really well.

Commenting again because it’s too late to edit my previous comment: does the site still generate ad revenue if no one sees the ads? In my (admittedly very limited) understanding, wouldn’t it work the same way as a TV channel or something similar: showing commercials whether someone is watching them or not?

That’s fair. If you can download Firefox to your phone (or Brave, as suggested below by Straybrit), you can put adblockers onto it and not see a morass of irrelevant, annoying, and infuriating ads when all you want is to see the Huddle.

I can’t speak to Brave, as I’ve never used it, but assuming you have an Android there are installation instructions for Firefox here.

For iPhone, instructions are here.

It’s really nice. You keep reminding us and anyone else who comes to the page.

meh

it’s wonderful that the Chiefs have won 2 straight, I’m very pleased and it’s great for the city

OTOH it’s tired being reminded of the same same same same same thing 365 days/year as if I (or we?) have either such a short memory (like a little child) that we can’t remember … or simply that there’s nothing else to say about it (Pats fans have done much the same: I hated the smugness then and I hate it just as much now)

now, there are those (here on AG) who would look at my statement and say “you’re not a fan!” and to those people I say “everyone has a different way of being a fan” …

maybe my response should be “so what? we all already know this” … and yeah, that’s kind of my point: are we, as fans, so insecure that we NEED to be reminded of the same thing every single day?

Over the many years (over 50, going back before we won SB IV) I’ve had of following this team when it was really difficult to be a Chiefs fan, I often dreamed of getting a leader on this team who was as hungry for winning not just one SB, but going back over and over again and creating a true dynasty team.

Now we have that team, and I LOVE seeing this reminder each and EVERY DAY!! I often skip through the actual articles and come down to see this reminder first. Then I go back and read the huddle. I know we all have a different way of looking at it, but with all the pain I’ve had with this team over the years, it’s like a cool, healing salve on those scars to see that reminder. If you don’t like it, it’s certainly easy just to scroll right on by it.
