Because I only want the best for you guys (well, most of you. Some. Some of you. You in the back. I want the best for you in the back, over there, no not you, the other guy), I offer a chance to right a wrong from years ago.
Move quickly, and you can have Super Bowl LIV, with the call from Kevin Harlan and Kurt Warner.
You have about 4 days, and it is gone. SB LVII is still in the works. There MIGHT be a new one of the Texans game with Mitch calling it, but no promises.
Happy Red Friday. I know, you didn’t get me anything.
The last one was Mitch on the call. This one is Harlan.
awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww you DO love us! (sorta kinda)
Thanks much Nova –
If he decides to re-do the Texans game with Mitch calling it, I will post the link. Also, as soon as I see the Harlan SB LVII, that will be posted too

RIP Otis Taylor
Sad news from Chiefs history:
Sad news to report as Chiefs legend and Super Bowl 4 Champion Otis Taylor has passed away at the age of 74. https://abs-0.twimg.com/emoji/v2/svg/1f64f.svg
Not even a Pokémon Go player sighting?
I just saw the Otis Taylor died this week. I’m so frustrated that he’s not in the HOF, and I feel sorry for everyone too young to have seen him play. I remember several games where he took over and pulled KC to a win. he was phenomenal back in the days when the rules made it harder for a WR to make an impact like that. With Tyreek cutting his career in KC short, Otis is still WR1 in my book. Thank you, Otis, for all you did!
this^^^ times a bazillion
Otis was a first team all-pro in 71 and 72. During that stretch there are 2 games I recall when Otis played out of his mind. It was a 2 game stretch in Dec of 71.
The first was a Monday night game against SF in SF. For some reason Cosell was slobbering all over SF that game, and Otis came up huge in the biggest moments. He had 5 catches for 81 yds including a 41 yd TD. And then the play I really remember, right after Howard made some comment about how SF had figured out the Chiefs offense and were down just 16-10, Otis took an end around for 25 yds and a TD. It was a beautiful moment. There was still a quarter to go, but that seemed to break SF’s spirit and KC cruised to 26-17 win.
The second was against the Raiders in 71 at home the following Sunday. I had some sort of stomach bug and couldn’t go to the game (my little brother and I were in the Huddle Club that season). The rest of my family went, so I listened to it on the radio – that was back when all home games were blacked out locally. Otis had 8 catches for 113 yds and a TD. The Raiders D were trying to physically beat the crap out of him, but he kept coming and making big catch after big catch and got a standing O when he came off the field at the end of the game.
I still think that 71 team that lost that heart-breaking Double OT game against Miami on Christmas day is still probably the best all-around team KC ever had, was the best team in the league that year. And Otis was the best player on the team and the best WR in the league, getting first team All-Pro honors.
PFT just noted that Otis was runner up for league MVP in 71, the highest finish ever by a WR.
HOF – waits too long. but fools like jerry jones get in?????
LeBron James Accused Of Using PEDs By Former UFC Fighter ‘We Have The Same Drug Guy’. Former UFC fighter Chael Sonnen is making some serious accusations against NBA star LeBron James...
I’ve said the same thing about LANCE Armstrong. After he retired, he was busted as cheater!!! I believe TOM BRADY been blood doping for years……maybe the real story will come out…TBD
Payton Manning last year in NFL he was busted for mass amounts of HGH shipped to his home. Payton said HGH was for his pregnant wife!!!!! BULL JIVE. Of course, media buried the story. Another cheater!!!
The famous – accounting error excuse!!!
The NFL docked the Houston Texans their fifth-round pick in the draft following a “salary cap violation” according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
“NFL is taking a fifth-round pick from the Texans and fining them $175,000 for what the league believes is a salary-cap violation and what Houston believes is an accounting error that dates back Deshaun Watson’s training during COVID,”
I actually feel bad for the Texans on this one. They paid for the gym where Watson worked out during COVID. My understanding is that if more players had used that gym it wouldn’t have been a violation
pretty much a “nothing burger” here
You just described their entire franchise.
Frank Clark – come back to Chiefs!! pass rusher market will NOT be the Money Grab market your agents, telling you it will be.
The Vikings signed Smith to a three-year, $42 million contract last offseason. Prior to joining their franchise, he spent three seasons on the Packers. Smith had a really productive 2022 season, racking up 44 total tackles, 10 sacks and a forced fumble.
The Vikings would free up over $12 million in cap space by releasing Smith

Happy red Friday Bitches…………
did you read – that SIX-year-old that SHOT his kindergarten teacher, NO FINE, NO CHARGES. Teacher was shot in the hand & chest. That kid should be admitted to a MENTAL ward for the REST OF HIS LIFE!!!!
tip my hat to you EAFOX for remaining a teacher!! I couldn’t do it; school nowadays is nothing more than a DAYCARE for a VAST amount of SHIT PARENTS!!
Dude … the kid is SIX! no, the jail time should be for the kid’s mom, and that’s the nicest thing I can say about it all (and yes, the KID should NEVER have had access to that gun to begin with) … Lock. Her. Up.
kid belongs in a MENTAL ward — he’s smart enough to bring a gun to school, load it & SHOOT a teacher, TWICE.
MENTAL ward for REST OF HIS LIFE
right, because 6 yr olds NEVER make mistakes and should be PUNISHED for ETERNITY … uh huh
