Pacheco will wear the No. 10 jersey for the Chiefs, the same number last worn by wide receiver Tyreek Hill.

Jersey numbers revealed for every Chiefs draft pick | chiefswire
There are some really solid choices from this group, but also some curious ones. They range from players taking advantage of the new jersey number rules to players wearing some numbers worn by former Chiefs greats.

Have A Great Week AG!! See Saturday…
was reading something about a division in Afghanistan, the hardline Taliban wand women to wear full face covering (burqa) and girls stop school after 6th grade
reminds me of hardline right-wing Americans
Geaux Chiefs
Fuck Putin!
You missed the convo last night regarding this
yes I did
There is nothing about the taliban treatment of women that reminds me of any right-wing americans.
Since this is a Chiefs site, I would think that we’d talk about the team rather than politics. What I like about sports is that it should be relatively free of the bullshit political stuff going on in the world, but it seems that whenever I come to this site anymore, all people want to talk about is politics. Heck, there are other boards devoted to that political crap, so use them, and if you pick the right one, everyone else is on your side. I’m very close to saying screw this site and go to another one that prefers to discuss the Chiefs rather than left vs right and all the twisted agenda’s that both sides have.
I wouldn’t say is all we want to talk about, but there are enough people on this site that care about the political climate that these type of discussions tend to happen in our O/T threads. And since we are a small site and there’s not a lot of Chiefs news to talk about at the moment, I think some are just trying to find something to talk about to keep the community alive.
What do you mean there isn’t a lot of Chiefs news to talk about? Are you so done discussing the draft picks we got? I’m not.
What else is there to say about them? We know what they bring to the table. we have a pretty good idea how they will be used. Really now it’s a waiting game with them to see how they actually perform
This. Especially agree re: OTs
Please tell me you’re joking.
If all this anti-conservative crap is about the roe vs wade stuff, the Media has tilted it way wrong as they usually do, and claim its about women’s rights. It’s not. the main difference of opinion is when life begins. I doubt any of us approves of murder. however, the left doesn’t think its murder because they feel life begins once a baby is born. The right believes it starts much earlier. So to the people who believe that fetus is a living person feel that abortion is no different than if a mother killed her 1 year old because she decided she doesn’t want it anymore. The left obviously doesn’t feel a fetus is a living thing so its not murder. strangely, the courts often identify is as a living thing when someone murders an pregnant woman and will file 2 counts of murder against the individual. The really sad part is that a majority of the abortions would disappear if people who didn’t want to have babies would use birth control. All the anti abortion laws I’ve ever seen also allow it in the case of mother endangerment or rape, contrary to what I’ve seen the media say.
I respectfully (and I mean that, because I consider you one of the sane ones around here. Can’t say I always include myself it that description) disagree with whether or not this is about “Women’s rights”. It honestly doesn’t matter when you want to say life begins. By removing any option of terminating the pregnancy, you are forcing an outcome on one group of people, and only one. Because I think Starry might be the only woman active on the site, I’ll say that you and I are unaffected by the overturning of a ruling that has been in place for 50 years. Can you tell me of any laws that would force a man to do anything close to that?
The RW folks were SCREAMING that being told they had to get a vaccine to help protect other Americans was a violation of they personal sovereignty. A needle stick was too much for them, but forcing a woman to carry, deliver, then care for a child she doesn’t want is A-OK.
This is absolutely a Rights issue. And look at Mississippi if you can’t find insanely restrictive laws. Won’t rule out banned contraceptives. Here: https://www.businessinsider.in/politics/world/news/mississippi-governor-twice-refused-to-rule-out-banning-contraception-if-roe-v-wade-is-overturned/articleshow/91439342.cms
The solution is mandatory vasectomy’s for every male at age 10, reversible when he and a woman make the conscious decision to have a child. That relationship ends? Back under the knife, buddy.
And with that, I am done with this for the day. At least until the Late Shift.
The Bible says life begins at first breath, so you’re going against the Bible?
The Bible actually says He knew you in the womb.
And? That says NOTHING about when life begins and certainly doesn’t negate life begins at first breath.
Actually, it says he knew you BEFORE the womb. Before there were wombs. Before there was anything. Because he knows all that will be. If knowing us is enough, have we all been alive forever?
what if god (as humans imagine a supreme being) doesn’t exist?
what if god is a man-made construct, like time …
What if your just punchin your ticket to hell wearin some gasoline underpants? I dont even care what you believe or feel that strongly about your choices, but good luck if he does exist
See? Here’s the thing. Ups is ok regardless because….
God knows all, so he knew long ago that Ups was going to type that. God did nothing to stop him or change what he wrote, so we have to believe that, since God is all Powerful and can create planets, galaxies, and Bridget Bardot, that what God wants, God gets. So if Ups typed that it is only because God wanted him to. Why would he want that? Mysterious ways. We only know that he apparently did. Ups is just doing God’s will, as strange as it might sound.
No, God gave men free will to make their own decisions. You can make good ones or bad ones. You pay your tab at the end of night you might say.
Logic says you either believe in Free Will or an Omniscient God. If God knows all that will be, then he knows what we will do AND what will happen next because of that choice. There is no free will in that case. We’re all just doing what we need to to get to the predetermined end point. It feels good to say we have free will, but if He knows everything, we are just bit players in this stage show.
Thats a lot of words to be wrong but, that belief does take the responsibility off individuals for their actions. Why have rules or laws?
Wrong? Walk me through the logical, provable steps to show me I am. I’ve stated “if A is true, then logically B must be”. Please do the same and prove free will with an all-knowing God. I have an open mind on the subject. I’d love to be convinced.
I dont need to, I dont care if you are convinced. You are just wrong. Its simple God (if you do believe) created everything and then made man in his image. He also gave free will to choices (adam & eve, one rule..they chose not to follow) so my opinion, your line of thinking is flawed. You are wrong
Thanks. That clears it up nicely.
Hear hear! Keep political discussions off this site. At least the morning huddle ones!
Hoosier, please don’t leave. Let’s talk Chiefs.
I agree, this site and its political discussions are all day around here. It’s disappointing. I come for Chiefs discussions and always post Chief stuff. Rarely is it a commented on. In between political and music videos. I have found myself going to AP for chiefs news and discussion.
It’s sad
I appreciate the Chiefs posts of yours, even if I seldom comment on them. You’re an integral part of the site, and I like seeing the tweets about last-minute acquisitions, highlight videos, etc. Really helps me get to know certain new faces.
By all means I’m for anything chiefs. If you have something to discuss, bring it up. This is just that time of year that there’s not much to talk about.
Let’s discuss how I go to bed each night hoping that Clark has kept it in his pants while he’s at work.
Jones.
Snyder.
Davis, now.
Whoever the asshat in Carolina was.
Please, Clark. Please have a non-existent sex drive
dunno why, but I’d wager that’s the LEAST of any concerns anyone should have
Man, I hope you’re right. Because you KNOW the the NFL is going to really make an example of a team, it would be us
Hoosier, morning huddle is not an open thread right?, one of the only chief news threads left on here, right? I agree with your statement. I can go plenty of places if I want to be insulted for conservative views, even on this sight. Its why i dont comment much anymore
Ups, please stop doing this in the Morning Huddle. I thought we all agreed to express these types of opinions in the 3rd Shift open thread?
deal and apologies … no intent to make anyone uncomfortable or whatever
Also celebrating another trip around the sun today, the Piano Man himself:
Happy B-Day!

Dallas MAVS fan (some young 18 year PUNK) shove/push Phx Suns (Chris Paul) MOTHER in the stands.
The PUNK got kicked out….and it looks like the PUNK mother got kicked out as well. Why the mother who was sitting next to her PUNK son allowed that SHIT to happen.
I don’t blame the PUNK…..I blame the PARENT.
**for the PR police – watch the VIDEO**
ZERO excuse for this PUNK — PUNK needs his AZZ beat — court will probably give PUNK & his mother…..a $50 fine…………but an AZZ beating he’ll last FOREVER.
A man should NEVER touch a woman — let alone a GRANDMOTHER
privileged PUNK – the parents will make up SOME excuse for their PUNK kid or hired a lawyer — to make her PUNK kid the victim. Instead of just having the PUNK make a public apologize………not a written apologize. I still like the idea of this PUNK getting his AZZ BEAT in public. Pushing a grandmother!!!!
WATCH: ‘He Put His Hands on My Mom!’ Dallas Mavs Eject Fan After Incident with Chris Paul Family – Sports Illustrated Dallas Mavericks News, Analysis and More
You don’t want to hear this, but…
Apparently, the PUNK AZZZ kid tried to hug Paul’s mom. ““Two unruly fans attempted to give unwanted hugs and have conversations with members of the Paul family on the public concourse of American Airlines Center.” https://www.yahoo.com/sports/mavericks-ban-fans-for-attempting-unwanted-hugs-with-chris-pauls-family-214840556.html
No mention of pushing or shoving.
In your clip, watch that mom walk that kid out. I would be very surprised if the kid is not autistic and became over stimulated. I can understand his family being concerned and can understand taking those two out of the arena.
And here I was all hyped for Chenal, and he picks #49?!?! Barf
Hopefully in a year we will look fondly upon that #
Very true oddly enough as bad as Niemann was I still look fondly upon #56
I always will with 56, Niemann had big shoes to fill.
56 is now Karlaftis.
It is going to take me a bit for my mind to realize 56 and 49 are not the unathletic white guys of the past few years.
I know Ben wore it, but every time I see 56, I only think of the DJ special
Pollard’s the first person to come to mind for me when I see 49, defensively at least. Then of course, Tony Richardson overall.
My Italian is horrible but here goes:
“Scopa nova, scope bene.”
A new broom sweeps clean.
Well, you get the idea.
Love it! Probably because of the optimism, but mostly because I’m in the middle of a sopranos rewatch haha
Haha, good.
Yes, it is.
“Broom new, not sure what good”
una nuova scopa spazzare pulire might be what you want.
The proverb is La scopa nuova spazza bene soltanto tre giorni. The new broom only sweep well for 3 days.
But I had to look it up, so I learned something.
Also Tony Richardson.
Forgot about Tony Richardson. T-Rich. He was a quality running back. Undrafted too, as I recall. Maybe Chenal can redeem 49 again and bring it back to its former glory.
T-Rich was one of the most selfless and skilled Fullbacks ever. He was my Dad’s favorite player.
Good morning Chiefs fans
