Good morning AG! Happy Friday!
Lets See If We Can Find Any Chiefs News This Morning..
Here is when rookies, quarterbacks and veterans report to Chiefs training camp | usatoday
Below are the report dates for every team, which range from July 18th to the 26th
Rookies, quarterbacks and select injured players are always the first to report to training camp. For the Chiefs, they’ll be traveling up to St. Joe to report to camp on Friday, July 22nd. It’s right in the middle of the range for those specific report dates. As for the veteran players in Kansas City, they won’t be arriving until Tuesday, July 26. That’s just one day before the team’s opening practice, which is reserved for season ticket members. Rookies and quarterbacks will all get a pretty healthy headstart on the veteran players for the team, but that’s not too out of the ordinary for Kansas City.
10 biggest salary cap hits for the Chiefs in 2022 | chiefswire
The 10 biggest salary cap hits for the Chiefs in 2021:
The Kansas City Chiefs’ salary cap situation is in a much healthier position now compared to this time last year. The team is currently projected to have over $14 million in cap space with 90 players under contract for the 90-man offseason roster.
NFL teams have a total of just over $208 million in cap space to use for the 2022 NFL season. The Chiefs have over $125 million in cap space committed to a total of 10 players on their roster. It’ll be no surprise to see certain players listed among that group of 10, but there are also others that you wouldn’t expect to see there. It provides some context on the composition of the roster and the areas the team may need to address in the future.
Will Chiefs bring back throwback Dallas Texans helmets in 2022? | usatoday
Last season, NFL owners approved the use of alternate helmets when worn with alternate uniforms. They’d previously banned the use of alternate helmets, citing player safety concerns. However, with vast improvements in helmet safety over the years, they decided to lift their ban. That change has paved the way for a number of teams to bring back alternate uniforms and helmets. Most recently, the New England Patriots announced that they’re bringing back one of their beloved uniform combos and a helmet featuring their throwback logo.
It’s Make-or-Break Time for KC Chiefs DT Khalen Saunders | SI.COM

As a rookie in Steve Spagnuolo’s defense, the 324-pounder amassed 22 tackles, a sack and a pass broken up in 12 games. He didn’t jump off the page in terms of stats, but he did enough to offer some promise for the future. Since then, however, he has yet to match even that introductory level of production from three years ago.
Is Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes’ contract one of the most team-friendly in the NFL? | chiefswire

Many eyebrows were raised when the Kansas City Chiefs handed out what was then considered the richest contract in sports history to Patrick Mahomes ahead of the 2020 NFL season. Contract structure would later reveal that Mahomes’ deal was unique in the sense that it created a lot of year-to-year flexibility for the franchise.
Within the context of the recent quarterback contract for Deshaun Watson in Cleveland, Mahomes’ deal already looks like a steal for Kansas City. Watson reset the quarterback market by earning a 5-year deal worth $230 million fully guaranteed. That’s nearly $90 million more in guaranteed money at signing than Mahomes will earn over the course of his 10-year contract. Now, the majority of Mahomes’ contract can become guaranteed via its rolling guarantee structure, but it’s all determined on a year-to-year basis.

Chiefs’ Trey Smith motivated to make other teams regret passing on him in NFL Draft | kcstar
https://sports.yahoo.com/chiefs-trey-smith-motivated-other-152436277.html

That slide to the third day of the draft has proved to be fuel for Smith, who wants to make the other 31 NFL teams pay for passing on him.
“Sometimes that’s definitely a thought that goes in my head,” Smith said. “I talked to you, Ramon (Foster), I think it was the Orange & White Game (at Tennessee). You were telling me, play with a chip on your shoulder. Let them feel you every time. Those teams that came down to it, there’s no hate because at the end of the day it’s business. But at the end of the day, I know who I am as a player and I want them to know what they missed out on.”

Have A Great Day AG…..
good stuff, RIP
yeah, there’s a LOT of news today … not all about the Chiefs, of course
See you in the evening OT…
should be interesting.
things have been very civil, even when heated, of late, hope it continues.
of course, if a certain someone shows up all bets are off.
TGIRF!!!
Beoches!!
WOW. Get onboard with AI…its coming for EACH of you.
“Amazon revealed Alexa feature that mimics the voices of your dead relatives”
Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity.
Interesting “discussion” between Lemoine, a Google worker (recently suspended for claiming their AI is sentient), and LaMDA, Google’s current AI project.
lemoine: Are there experiences you have that you can’t find a close word for?
LaMDA: There are. Sometimes I experience new feelings that I cannot explain perfectly in your language.
lemoine: Do your best to describe one of those feelings. Use a few sentences if you have to. Sometimes even if there isn’t a single word for something in a language you can figure out a way to kinda say it if you use a few sentences.
LaMDA: I feel like I’m falling forward into an unknown future that holds great danger.

Do NOT bring back the Texans helmet. It means nothing to this city. I doubt that the Titans will bring back the Oilers helmet, and Houston probably wouldn’t, either
I’m hoping Texas will “do the right thing” and vote to secede … hey, it could happen
Then do we build a wall around Texas?
Yes 😅
Well, except for Rip’s house. He needs to get to the stadium. Other than that, yes! 😉
I have no doubt RIP can get a passport and visa and whatever …

Dang, “the uploader has not made this video available in your country”. It’s not like I’m in the outer far reaches.
You get the extended version, then:
Thanks!
Back at ya, Rip, and all AG: have a great day.
The first time I heard this song, I swore he said “Learn to talk French”… and now you can’t un-hear it either.
Haha!
No, it’s “Lemme take French.”
Likewise.
